The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

The "meeting arena"

In 7 we get our first look at what appears to be...the great valley's "meeting arena". It's got bleachers, and hell, it's even got a huge curved entrance!
Here are some other views of it:

Sooooo...if it's a huge meeting place in the great valley, why haven't we seen this until 7? My guess is that by now they were "humanizing" the films too much, which back during the superior Roy Allan Smith era, they hadn't been doing as much.

It might have been a previously unknown part of the valley that they just happened to find sometime prior to 7 but after 6. The valley is huge so there are probably many parts of it that we have not seen.

How it formed, it would be hard to come up with the full details. But I think it is a natural formation; they probably just happened upon it and thought they could use it for meetings due to the large place, and with the unique structure it was easily identifiable, so it would have been hard to come to the wrong place.

Perhaps it's not just a "meeting place", but rather a court where the Great Valley inhabitants decide what to do with criminals? After all Pterano was considered a bad character by many of the adults.

Like I said, "modernization". It took over the films along with Grosvner, and crappy animation, and as a result things started to slowly stale with 5 and 6, and then rot with 7-9, and then seriously decay with 10-12...and then you get to 13.  :anger

I believe this was in the sixth movie as well.  When the Dino's of the valley were discussing the whereabouts of Doc.  I can't tell you why this was in the later episodes other then what Dark said.  Another guess is that the gang moved in the fifth movie when they got separated.  This is how they ended up.  They found the formation and decided to call it as there "arena".

Oh yeah, congrats on becoming King.
