Two week job call

Just a heads up. I am going to be out of town for two weeks on a job call. I'm going to work at the nuclear power plant in Dothan Alabama. It is only a two week call and the hotel I am staying at should have wi-fi but I'm not sure when I'll be able to get on. I always thought working in a nuclear plant would be kinda interesting but from what I've heard from other people who have worked there it is extremely boring. Everything had to be closely inspected and documented and it takes forever to get any work done. Still, saying I've worked at a nuclear plant would look great or a resume. I might end up going down there several times depending on what the work situation is. Union jobs are rather scarce in Alabama so I'll take what I can get.

Electrical stuff. I'm not sure exactly what they'll have me doing though.

Thought I'd post an update. Apparently the contractor at the plant decided to cancel the job call so it looks like I'm not going anywhere.

Update#2 The job call got placed again so I'll be going down to Dothan after all, just a week later than originally planned. I think I'll come back home on the weekends though since it is only 2 hours from where I live and I don't want to pay for extra nights in a hotel.

Well I spent my first day at the nuclear plant. It's pretty cool here. I wish I could get some pictures but I didn't bring a camera with me. Besides, security is extremely tight around here and they probably wouldn't like that.
