The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Who am I?

Lord Carter? He found Pharao Tutenchamoun's (dunno the Englich spelling) grave, and Tutench... whatever was only about 18 years old by the time of his death.

Are you certain? I hadn't checked out google for the answer, but upon reading your answer I found frequent mentions of Lord Howard Carter while the search for "Lord Caravan Tutankaman" didn't bring any results.

If you are sitting in the "cage" named after me you are save from electricity of whatever voltage (e.g. lightnings). If you are siting in a car for example you are sitting in a ... cage.

Nope. Who is Bessemer?
In many museums on natural sciences they demonstrate the visitors how somebody can sit in a kind of cage while whole lightings of electricity are "shot" at it, while the person in the cage remains unscratched. This experiment is based on the experiments of the scientist I'm looking for. He was an Englishman by the way.

I don't think so (though I'm not a 100% sure). He is best known I guess for inventing the electric transformer.
