The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

My Clay Sculptures' facebook page

Hi GoF!

I've decided to create a facebook page for my clay sculptures. The eventual goal of this page is to attract people to my sculptures. Eventually I will want to be giving workshops and sell sculptures which are no personal treasure. All I need right now is some recognition. So here I am, shameless advertising:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Claydoodles/268717613220118

All I'd like you guys to do is to like the page, or maybe share it. Much appreciated! :angel

I Liked your page, you have some pretty good work there  :)  I think the most impressive one is the Gyarados. How long does it usually take you to make them?

Thank you, good sir. It really depends on the sculpture. I really like my Gyarados sculpture too, I think that one took an hour, maybe an hour and a half. I am currently working on a sculpture which will become a snowglobe, I've already put 4 hours of work into that one ^^

Since you are taking requests, could you make a Lanturn sculpture or clay doll?

You were lucky I was in a sculpting mood this morning, but to be honest I think it's one of my worst pokemon sculptures yet...

Anyway, here's Lanturn for ya!:

I like how that looks, though I have no idea how a Lanturn is supposed to look. What areas are you not happy with?

Mainly the eyes. The yellow thing covering the eyes should be *just*  around the eyes, and the eyes itself should mostly be filled with the iris. In this picture, I have completed the fact that the yellow is *just around the eye, but there is still too much white in the eyes.

Hmmm...Looks alright for what it is. To me at least. Nice job, anyways!

How about something easier...

That is a great looking sculpture.  Did it take long to do?  I can guess it would be one of the harder ones having so many details and such.

Yes, especially the bottom layer (which is not very well visible on this picture) has a lot of details in it and took me roughly about 1 hour. Normally I work 20 to 50 minutes on a sculpture, so this one took me longer as usual to finish. :)
