I'd say I'm fashionably late enough with posting this thread. Anyway, since I'm back and haven't had the chance to rejoin any RPs yet I figured I'd start an ask thread to have something to do and so people could learn a bit more about me.

I reserve the right to not answer any questions that might embarrass me or reveal information that I prefer to keep private, but other than that I believe in being honest, so... ask away.

The first thing I RP'ed and what I was looking for was based on the Alien films. I was deep into the Alien fandom, riding the success I had achieved with an old fanfic and I was interested in trying out RP for a change of pace after my fanfic writing.

Regarding your username Drake, are you a fan of dragons, and if so, what kinds, exactly?
(I.E. wyverns, asian, western, wyrms, lindworms, salamanders, etc.)

I'm a big fan of dragons, mostly the Western body type, though I like the more beneficient nature of the Eastern folklore dragons. I like to see them used as characters in their own right or as motiffs for heroes and villains, rather than rampaging monsters.

That's not to say I don't like the destructive burning of the countryside and Princess kidnapping, I just prefer the other characterization more.

The movie Dragon Heart. It's the earliest memory I have of dragons. Also the green ranger might have been a factor into it.

Sunflower seeds, because they're coated in delicious salt! I also like popcorn and I eat lots of pretzels, but they tend to get old.  :p
