Trying to get into Ace Attorney

Right now, I'm on Case 2 of the DS Port of the original game. It's a difficult win, but I've managed to corner April May and the Bellboy enough to get Maya through the first day. I'm not sure if I want to play to on, though. Although the gameplay is interesting and I certainly like Phoenix, it's that Prosecuter, Miles Edgeworth that I've already had it up to my ears with. The man is doing everything in his power to get a seventeen year old girl sent to the chair on faulty logic just so he can win the case. AAAARGH! Please tell he gets added a casualty or loses his badge. I might be able to go on if I know I won't be putting up with too much more of this guy. I'm sorry, I just find him so thoroughly unpleasant that he actually makes the game less fun to play.
