Corrupt a Topic

Similar to "Corrupt a Wish", in Corrupt a Topic, someone will say a thing for us to talk about and then the other person interjects and gives another topic as well as a reason why their topic would be better. You can give whatever reason you want. It can even be silly and nonsensical.

For instance, person 1: "Let's talk about X."

Person 2: "Nah, let's talk about X instead because (give your reason here)."

Let's talk about ponies.
