Thanks for the feedback guys! Much appeciated

Wonderful! I've noticed that all your sketches are pretty clean & you sorta "guess" how all lines & curves should be arranged from first go - how do you make it? In my case, I can spend some 1 or 2 hours on a sketch of a character (that's much simple than these in LBT) till I get it almost 1:1, but then the whole sheet is full of lines & etc, so I have to guess which one among many ||||||'s in the correct one for outlining. Having outlined it finally, I then trace it to a clean sheet & color/outline there.
Well, my "sketches" are usually already cleaned up and outlined when I scan them. I would need a whole lot more attempts to get lines right if I weren't using screenshots though (that's something I try to do less in the future

). I don't use much pressure at first so lines are easy to erase without staying visible to some extend. I erase lines that don't seem right right away, usually. As soon as I have finished the basic lineart, I do small corrections if they are necessary and go over the lines again with a little more pressure so they are more visible (sometimes using a "softer" pencil since they're usually darker (depends on what pencil I've been using for the sketch... either a hard or a really hard one) --> better visible). I used to do the final outlines with a pencil that was "too" soft so it was smeared when I coloured the pics. Therefore, I do the final outlining after the colouring now (using the soft one). Everything that's supposed to be black I colour with the softest pencil I have btw (e.g. eyes, eyelashes etc).
Of course, I do edit the scans a little to enhance the quality and just make it look nicer. I usually make them a little darker so the lines are really dark and clear, I increase the contrast slightly (though sometimes it looks better if I slightly decrease it...) and, most importantly, I make everything sharper ^^ The coloured versions are usually treated similar, only that I usually increase the saturation somewhat to make the colours a little brighter (but only a tad

)
I edit my scans on photobucket where I also host the pictures I upload here (since the site doesn't allow direct uploads).
Hope that clears it up a little

1-2 hours of work are about how much time I need for the sketches as well, depends on the number and complexity of the characters of course...
Wow! dino_wow.gif That is the best drawing yet!
Awesome!

The coloring is extremely well done and the outline work is nearly perfect from what I can see. The rock that they are sitting on also looks very well done. The coloring of Spike is much better this time and I am glad to hear that you found some new pencils with more available colors.
Thanks for the praise

I'm very happy that you think so. I was a little concerned about the rocks but then I decided to use my pencils here rather than the brown in the original screenshot. Shading is something I have yet to get the hang of but I'm working on that

Did an attempt on shading the colours last week and the result was good enough to keep (and upload it eventually ^^)
