"Take her, Nova, as your own.. don't try to protest, it would be better for her in the long run, emotinally"

Eva then had to ask something to her "Is there a chance that Stripetail might part ways more then one way?" Eva looked at Evalicator having to ask the question that was on her mind.

Nova looked startled "Lord Stripetail... I-I don't know if I could." since he never been in a relationship before.

As she said this the yellow magical ring around Eva's body, which protected the child within began to dissipate. Stripetail had spoken correctly when he said he was never to know the joys of childhood, it was part of the price of immortality, a previous attempt to have children had ended disasterously, and it had taken Stripetail decades to fully emotionally recover from it.. and history was beginning to repeat itself

He will be no question, Stripetail is not someone who likes to be taken advantage of in this manner, and in order for something like this to work, you have to have tremendous power, otherwise he'll detect what is going on and he'll figure out everything. Only a very small number of creatures can do this, and you have to be immortal,no mortal being could do this, Eva. Fortunately, I am one of those creatures, although he will likely make me regret it. I Don't think he'll blame you Eva, I can guarantee he knows how you feel for him..He'll be angry at me, and me alone.." Evalicator replied. "Perhaps you should reveal our secret to him before the child is born..so he can be ready when it is born.."

Stripetail took Nova to a nearby cafe for dinner, inviting the young dragon to est to his heart's desire.
"Eat as you plaease Nova, and try and collect yourself for this" He said , as Nova looked at the menu, which was large and full of interesting entrees that looked tempting, he hadn't eaten for several hours now..

He glanced at nova, who was still very young, and who had never dated before.. neither had Eva, to his knowledge...at thier age his relationship with Snowpaw had been very serious.. but that was a different era, where girls married extremely young, and often had multiple children by the time they reached 20.

I can read minds" stripetail replied...causing Nova to go red with embarassment, he had forgotten about Stripetail's mind-reading abilities.. "You made some good choices as far as selection goes, remember, you ca re-order anything off the menu, and if you want desert, well you can order whatever desert you want.." stripetail said..

(Erm if I remember right, Red Dragons minds no matter the age can't be read by magical or non magical beings even the expericsed like Stripetail because of their natural formations of the minds making it like hitting a blank wall to those that read minds.)
