"Okay!" Grandma yelled over the screaming.

"I wouldn't mind a nap either," said Lily. "But I don't really think I'll get an easy sleep right now." She looked up at Nahla, with some sympathy in her eyes.

With Jenna's gentle rocking Nahla soon fell quiet and fell asleep.

Jenna smiled and licked her putting her 'treestar blanket' over her. She sighed and looked down at Lily "Do you want anything to eat?" she asked quietly.

"No, I'm good thanks," said Lily, before her stomach growled loudly. "Er... I just feel a bit sick at the moment, actually, so I don't want to risk eating and then throwing up everywhere."

"You should really eat something,it will make you feel better. Or your just gonna get dizzy and tired" Jenna said raising her head "I need to be by my sons side right now,but please Lily dear,do eat" she walked off slowly

Lily groaned but did as Jenna said and ate a couple of small treestars. Taro picked her up and took her to a quieter place.

"How come you ran off?" he asked.

"I, er... I let slip about... you-know-what," she answered quietly. Taro was surprised, but didn't say anything for a while. "I asked her not to tell anyone else, so hopefully they won't know... but what if they find out?"

"They won't," said Taro, nuzzling her. "And if they do, I'll kick up the biggest fuss ever. Anyway, shall we get back to the others?" Lily chuckled and followed him.

Jenna hang her head over Littlefoot "Do you think...we should just let him go?" she closed her eyes dreading the answer.

Grandma shook her head. "No... we just need to wait..." She was desperate to just speak to her grandson again, even if only for a few minutes. She began to let silent tears fall.

A few moments later Taro and Lily joined them, both seeming in a down mood again.

Littlefoot's eyes slowly opened he screamed and closed them again.

Jenna understanding turned to her family "The bright circle is burning his eyes,it's too light for him"

Grandma moved, her shadow casting down on Littlefoot and shielding him from the light of the bright circle.

"Hopefully that'll make it a bit better," she commented.

Littlefoot shook "There was blood everywhere...they all came for me.." he turned his head and grabbed a small stone on a vine which he had been hiding "This was also there,they said it belonged to The Dud who used to live in that cave her name was Nahla but a beautiful name was wasted on thrash....that was Nahla's home...and that was her blood..it was awful" he sobbed dropping the stone.

Littlefoot choked back a sob "Yeah..they said she made it herself..she used to hug and crying after her beatings..they could hear her asking it to take her spirit away..they said the cave I was in...Nahla stayed there all her life..in 5 years..they never let her out of it.." Littlefoot kept sobbing disstressed about what he saw and heard there.

"Oh the poor little thing..." Grandma whispered. "I'm so sorry you had to see such a horrible thing, little one."

Lily went up next to Littlefoot. "May I?" She was talking about the stone.

Littlefoot nodded groaning in pain and handed the stone over to Lily. "Grandma I'm sorry I did something so stupid like jump off a canyon..."

Nahla awoke with a yawn,she shook her head unaware her past was now out in the open.

Littlefoot buried his head into Grandma's leg "I don't wanna go back there Grandma...I'll be good I just never want to go back there"
