Grandma didn't hear; she had already slipped back into unconsciousness from the blood loss.

Taro just stood there, crying silently. "Where's Lily?" he asked. She had run off again.

Jenna's mind had gone blank,her son had slowly died and she could not even been by his side.

The healer fast biter checked him over and snarled something at Taro. His eyes widened in shock.

"You've gotta be kidding me..." he whispered. The fast biter just shook his head in reply.

Taro looked at his sister and frowned. "He said he doesn't know what the fuss is all about. Littlefoot's just fainted."

"But Nahla said..." a shocked Jenna turned her gaze to the little 5 year old.

Nahla gasped and began to back off thinking they would think she tried to kill him and pretended he was dead.

The fast biter said something else.

"He said it's an easy mistake for a child to make," Taro translated. "That and fast biters have better hearing than longnecks do so he could find a heartbeat better- Hey!"

The fast biter gave Taro a toothy grin while the longneck glared at him.

Jenna closed her eyes "What about mum?" she asked quietly.

Nahla had left the scene to go look for Lily.

"I'll be fine," Grandma whispered again, overhearing the conversation. She opened her eyes and smiled at her daughter. "I just tripped and cut my leg that all."

Jenna smiled relived "And you and Littlefoot have me a right ole' heartattack" chuckled uncovering her son and placing him next to Grandma before gritting her teeth remembering the injury Hades gave her.

"Let me have a look at that," said Taro, looking at her. "You should lie down for a bit."

"You can stop now," Grandma said to her sobbing mate, who soon turned his sobs in chuckles, and it looked like he was laughing and crying at the same time. "Strange old longneck, you are," Grandma joked.

"Can do," said Grandma. She gritted her teeth when she finally noticed the pain in her leg. Grandpa immediately started tending to it.

Lily was with Ahra, just chatting about something.

Nahla was lost,she walked along sobbing. The little 5year old longneck stopped and looked around terrified "Mummy!" she called sobbing before walking further into the Fastbites home.

Jenna glanced down at Littlefoot concern on her face.

Lily and Ahra heard Nahla's shouts and ran up to her.

"What are you doing here? Do you want to get eaten?!" Ahra exclaimed.

"Leave her, Ahra," Lily scolded. "Come on Nahla," she said, walking further into the valley.

"We'll look after him for now, Jenna," Grandpa promised. "Go and find the other children."

Nahla followed her sobbing heavily.

Jenna nodded and with a nod to Taro began to walk off hoping to spot the girls.

Ahra went with them just in case anyone else found them before Taro and Jenna did.

Taro thought he heard something. "This way," he said.

Littlefoot now by had awoken from his fainting fit,he shook his head wondering what happened.
