The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Here are some excellent maps of Tolkien's Middle-Earth. They aren't the most beautiful maps of that universe, but they are the most descriptive of them all.
A good source of inspiration.
If you want more maps, they can be found here and here.
Some of these maps are non-canonical, so beware. :)

Quite a few maps.  Reminds me of a book I have of Middle Earth Maps I got quite a while back.   Neat to look at them at times.  Though like the online maps I'm not sure how cannon each map is.

I think that these maps should be considered canonical. They don't show anything that wasn't in Tolkien's own writings and maps, but they show everything else. That's why I think these are the best maps. All the places mentioned in the Hobbit/LOTR are present here.
