Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

I went this year to the first ever Midwest Bronyfest KC. It was fantastic. There were several great artists, well organized events, and a good attendance. The guest VA was Sam Vincent. He was great to talk with, and really was happy with the convention, as well. If you're around the KC area next year, be sure to check it out! C: I may even be helping work it next year.

Think you may volunteer for it?  Good luck if you do.  glad you had a lot of fun there.  Did it last the whole weekend?  I've heard some cons only last a day or a few days instead of the whole weekend.

It was a Saturday-Sunday event. It was really really good.
