That is a rare hunting strategy used by longnecks.They breath on the tree,and the horrible smell of it make the tree drop all of it's leaves immediately

Sharptooth, Littlefoot's archenemy, finally found out the easiest way to finally get this sneaky longneck! All he need to do is hide under the Treesweet and wait until "the most polite and good longneck" decides to steal some sweets and fall from the cliff again due to his forever-young-age because of series creators.
