LBT paralell in "Balto"

I was going through the screencaps for the movie "Balto", and found something really interesting.




Does the background to this shot look familiar to anyone?

To me, it looks like an attempt to copy that background for the shot of Littlefoot's treestar in the original LBT!!!

I guess I shouldn't read too much into itl they're just upward shots with a bunch of dead trees and sunlight...

...but still, I wonder if I'm the first person to notice this??
