Well, we’re dangerous no matter which they view us as, except that they’re better off viewing us as Sharpteeth. Humans are the most dangerous species on the planet, so it’s best they stay away from us.

Well Dinah, Dana, and Tricia are all rambunctious kids who get into trouble. If Dinah & Dana managed to find themselves in such a situation, it's easy to imagine Tricia winding up there as well. I think the growth spurt is actually the bigger mystery here, since Tricia was born after Dinah & Dana and yet now towers over both of them.
