Despite eventually becoming a good hunter of snapping shells later in life, Ruby was not well practiced during her younger days.

Ruby's dad:  "Oh!  Did my little girl have trouble getting snapping shells?"

Ruby:  *Embarrassed nod*

Ruby's dad:  "Don't worry, dear.  Practice makes perfect.  Here, you can have one of my snapping shells."
