Just noticed something....

This body of water looks unlike any we've ever seen in the Great Valley or mysterious beyond in any of the other films---other than 9. Interesting, but inconsistent, choice of scenery on the animators' part.

Well, in this particular shot, they were making their way back from Threehorn Peak, and therefore a direction they don't go in any of the following films.   Don't know if this makes sense, my geography knowledge is pretty juvenile, but that's just my thoughts on the matter.
