Not sure if hes pure dingo or not but he sure does have alot of dingo in him he is about 3 to 5 months old and treat me as he would the alpha dog of the pack. When he greets me he gets way low to the ground very submisive then basically licks me to death. Havent named him yet and dont got him here at my house just yet got to talk my dad in to allowign him here as we got 2 other dogs. But well hes only a few mile ride from my place here to my sisters new house. Going to start some obeience training here pretty quick and get him all set up with a dig house and huge long tie out. One i got a decent job if i dont bring him here ill build him a huge kenel like area backed against the hill side and dig him out a den. No picks of him just yet hopefully soon. But heres a picture of what he mostly looks like in the face http://home.vicnet.net.au/~dingolyn/images/dingoHowl2.jpg
His body color is 50 50 white and red streaked white belly white feet and tail tip. Like other dingos he doesnt bark just lots of whines moans and hes not howled yet hehe that should be intresting to hear the first time :p

The below is for thoose who think they may be intrested in haveing a dingo as a pet and for those with large breed barrel chested dogs.

By their nature dingos are a flight instead of fight breed in other words highly non agresive towards any thing but their prey. This is assumed to be do to persecution by most people and well like any trait if it aids in surivial  become a survival trait. In the case of a dingo if it acts agresive towards a person it will not live long it will be shot or poisoned or in some other fasion killed. Its really quite sad as they are a increbile breed of canine. They et to be between 50 and 70 pounds ( i think hell be in the 50 to 60 pound range) and can live to be 20 years old or older.

Unlike other "dog" breeds they take a single mate for life and breed only once a year. And have been known to morn them selves to death.

Thankfully they are not a "barrel chested dog" So little to no risk of "bloat" also called Gastric TORSION OR VOLVULUS.
Bloat is when the stomage twists and closes off at both ends gastric dilation while not as severe is also quite dangerous and has similar syptoms http://www.woodhavenlabs.com/bloat.html
I only learned of this incidious ailment when my own dog a rodesian ridge back died from it. From healthy and happy to dead in a short 2 and half days. Day one he acted sick nothing really majoreating grass to try and induce vomiting. Day 2 he refused to eat (called to set up apointment with vet for next morning got one at noon. next mornign i went to check on him right around 9 in the morning only to find him dead. If you have a mdium to large breed dog with the deep barrel shaped chest read that link and do some googling.

Actually he does look like a wild dingo.    Sort of like how people go and buy the wolf/husky breeds because they're part wolf or something.

Very cool how he acts towards you.  :DD

Yeh thats a pick of a full dingo. Mines a mix (i think) But unlike other wild dogs wolves etc they dont turn agresive on you. Biggest thing with them is it is a long term deal. You cant get one then decide your gona give it away. The dog wont adapt to a ne home or family. Once they form a bond thats it. They will accept new members to their pack aka your family and will accept new pets etc. But i couldnt for example give him to you he would withdraw and basically morn him self to death. Now if i moved in with you as a room mate or some such then left a year or so after and left him with you hed be fine as hed accept you as a member of his pack and be fine with you.

I thin im gona ask a friend of mine if i can board him there for now. Maybe mow his lawn one or twice a week to pay for food and such. Ill be able to get around the normal you can give em awy deal because im gona socialise the heck out of him heh. With their non existant health isues they are a great dog. 5k to 15k year old breed so all that stuff is gone from them.

well after more searching i do beleive hes not part dingo but full dingo. Found this pic that shows a dingo with the same red white streaked coat
and this one showing one with the same face coloratiion as mine

And from various sites it even says they can have various combanations of markings rust and white face with speckled brendel coat. That and the fact my other dogs do not react to his crawling all over me and no doggy breath or odor transfer from him to my hands as i pet him all are common only to dingos. No barking lots of various wines moans and howling like sounds heheh.

If when i bring him home it should be quite entertaining to see our other dogs reaction to a dog that looks like a dog but dont smell like one oh the poor confused dogs :)
