Petrie's attempt to re-enter the Gang of Five after his ban didn't go well.  Even Spike saw through his disguise as Mr. Melonhead.

Despite several warnings, Petrie just would not get the hint that he was no longer allowed to enter this particular forest. This was the final straw.
