Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Rather amusing Google Translate glitch

Apparently a glitch was found in Google Translate where the word "Russia", translated from Ukrainian to Russian translates as "Mordor".

I had to snicker a little bit.  :lol I always knew SOMETHING was up with Russia, what with the volcanoes and all. :p

There is no telling what anything will get translated to with Google Translate! I've lately been really into these videos where a woman does parodies of songs where the lyrics have been run through several layers of Google Translate, and things get REALLY botched!! :lol  :lol

I also have done quite a few of my own translations, including several LBT songs! I don't have them public anywhere though.

Typing "ooga booga" and making Google Translate think you're typing in Somali is funny as well.
Growing up I was a big LBT fan and had seen all movies and TV series episodes. On the forum, I was formerly known as Hypnobrai until Nov 11, 2017.

In recent years, I have gained an interest in the production of The Land Before Time, particularly the deleted scenes of the original film. New discoveries have been made in the last few years and continue to be made, so I feel that it is a good time to contribute.

I have always loved sharpteeth more than any other creatures in the franchise, such as the fourteenth film's Carnotaurus, the fifth film's Sharptooth, and #1 by far - the original Sharptooth.

From 2017-2019, I was an administrator for the LBT wiki.
