Yeah this is gonna be quite awesome. There have been many theories about the plot from the game play videos. and a potential spoiler was dropped in one.

So I've gotten to mission 13. So far it's been a blast, the feels are real It feels oh so good to fly the skies of Strangereal again.

Just ordered my copy yesterday, one of the few times I've ever picked up a game so close to its release date.


...and I still need to get around to playing Zero for the first time too.

Just beat it today. It is truly worthy of a place among the holy trinity of 04, 5 and Zero. A 9/10 I loved every moment of this game it is in my opinion one of the best in the series.

I killed the two drones and beat the final mission with the F-104.  It seemed fitting to use an ancient plane to take on the super advanced drones and then fly up the space elevator.  I'd have used it a lot more if it had a better payload capacity.

Nice. I used the F-22 myself first time I beat it. Now I really wanna try using the F-104 for the final mission.

Finished the game last Sunday and overall, I agree with F-22's sentiment. Its the best Ace Combat game since the PS2 trilogy, especially story and gameplay-wise. Defeated the final bosses with the Typhoon (as I used it for the rest of the campaign once I unlocked it), both of which were a good challenge, especially the tunnel section near the end (I disagree with the opinion that its more difficult than the ACES tunnel from AC5, admittedly.) I also teared up when Kei Nagase turned up.

Probably going to replay the campaign a few more times, as I tend to do with these games. Going to try and unlock the Erusian skins and a few of the specials.
