New Years Role Play

What do you think of this idea? Should we try to make a fun New Years role play for this board? It probably would happen during the day simply because we all have things going on the evening of December 31st.

1.) Would you participate?
2.) How would we do it - here on the board, or on MSN?

Ok, I would definitely do this for fun...play any character, have a fun time, and I'd actually prefer this on MSN or some chat program because I'm not sure how well this board server would hold up with multiple people posting all at once (plus the constant refreshing to see who posted and what we should say next).

I agree with Nick. Boards are usually better with RPs.

And I'm having problems with the MSN chat software :blink:

I'll work out something here then...probably a separate forum so we don't clog the party room.

Anyone else? I'd want at least five people (including myself) if we're going to do this.

I've set up the forum and it will be open for posting and games from December 31st to January 1st (all day, both days). I'm sure some will just join in once they see it.

I don't know who I will play yet. I could play my fanfic character, but I'll wait until all 5 original characters are picked. But if Petrie isn't picked, then I'll play him. Right now, I'm thinking of a funny skit of what happens to Petrie when he is given egg nog.

You do not have to play LBT characters to join...I'm just playing my rabbit character, Arvens (some of you have RP'ed with me through IM so you know how I work).

Hey! All sounds cool but, unfortunately...this little longneck will not be in the Great Valley to play that day!

To cut a long story short, I'm heading out to Spain with my Dad for the Xmas hols (flying out on Boxing Day) and staying over there til after New Year's! Sorry gang! But hey! Enjoy it anyway and have a great Xmas and an even greater New Year! B)

I'm not sure. So far it looks like I'm going to spend a lone new years eve, so I might perhaps join in. But actually just sitting in front of the computer screen isn't my idea of a real new years eve either. Also I'm generally not a good role player with my sticking to the LBT limits fanatism and the lack of a certain kind of goof off humour.

Well, the New Years role play will be going for two days, the 31st of December and 1st of January, so you don't have to be on all the time.
