I saw this last month, and I fell right in love with it. It's got gorgeous animation unlike any movies I've seen before (THE MOON FISH DREAM SEQUENCE AAAAAAAAAAAA
), a super cozy and happy vibe that always lifts my spirits, amazing character designs, and one of my favorite lines in anything: "Some people? They'll never accept him. But some will." I connect so well with that line
And in general I have a pretty personal connection with the movie. I don't feel comfortable explaining it though...pretty touchy stuff.
But that was just another reason I connected as well as I did. I'm just gonna say I relate to Luca pretty well and leave it at that.
In short I absolutely love this movie and you can BET on me watching it even more in the future. Currently my favorite animated movie period along with Soul!
