Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

I was just screwing around and got a crazy idea that I wanted to see the gang sing a song without them actually singing it but still have the musical aspects in it so I made this vid.  Now be aware that vocal removal isn't perfect, nor is the result very pretty.  It's just kinda fun to watch them sing it and have no sound come out but still have the music I think.  I was able to get 98.6% of the vocals out according to my program but the end result isn't very good.  I could have very little loss in audio quality if I didn't remove so much, but if I don't do that, they just sound like they're voices are screwed up.  This was the best I could do under the circumstances.

I don't mean to brag, but I'm pretty much a master when it comes to knowing this song.

Now, it was good until it was cut off at the end.  Yeah, you did miss the last few notes.  Though I must admit it is tricky pinpointing it just right.  You only have a split-second to get it right after all.

I did slightly hear them during the start of the second part of the song where they sing, "We will always be your friends.  Although we're far apart,".  Other than that, you were able to keep them out completely.

So, for the most part, you did a great job.  It was better than I had anticipated. :^.^:

Tell me about it!  I make music vids, remember?  I did this video 2 years ago, right after I got the program and I wasn't very good at it back then.  Getting the last few lines cut off really didn't bother me.  Remember, I said I got 98.6% of the vocals out.  If I got 100% of them out, the sound track would sound like crap (it already does, but I assure you, it would be a lot worse. ).  Anyway, there is no way I would be able to do this better without some very expensive equipment and/or hardware.  Vocal remocal isn't very crucial in my life, so I'll spend it on something more important to me like college.
