Handmade Cel Final Scene Fanart

[LBT Fan]

Back in my freshman year of high school, I took Intro Art class, and our final project was to create a cel painting by using acrylic paint. Me being a huge LBT Fan at that time, I decided to do one based on the last scene of the first movie. We had to trace the original reference onto a plastic sheet and then use acrylic paint to fill in the traced lines. Then, the background had to be painted with watercolor on paper. It's not perfect but it was the best I could do at the time with whatever art supplies that were available. It's been a few years since I've done this project, and I think it's one of my greatest achievements that still holds up to this very day.

That's pretty cool! I've never done any cel painting before. Have you thought of getting back into artwork by any chance? I found that drawing helped me get back into franchise and a good reason to try something I haven't done in a long time again.

Really nice job aside from a small colour error on Littlefoot's snout .
