Well, it helps when all (except a few) the people in your family are wealthy property owners. My family has been making money renting out homes for over 3 generations. When my grandfather died, he had over 50 properties. That's quite a lot of money considering most of his houses got around $1,200 a month in rent or more. My aunt decided to go a different way. She owns two apartment complexes. She says she doesn't want to mess with all those houses.

I think I like her way best. I'm going to own a lot of apartment complexes when I'm old enough as well.
