The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Land Before Time Plushes

Today, I just bought 5 Land Before Time plushes of the gang of five (not 7 :DD). I took some pictures for y'all to see:
Cera plush
Ducky plush
Littlefoot plush
Petrie plush
Spike plush

They were $3 a pop at Family Dollar, so I figured, "What have I got to lose?" (except for the money :lol)

If any one has any LBT plushes, post pictures here.

PS: I didn't exactly know where to put this. I thought about the Fridge, but I decided on here instead. An admin can move this if he/she feels it necessary.

Really belongs in the chilly fridge but since I see others viewing the topic I won't move it just yet.  I don't have plushes, but I have these guys:

They'll hold up better than any plush.

Petrie...

is blue? Don't get me wrong, it's a good color scheme, but...why is it so hard for people to make Petrie his correct colors?

EDIT: Never mind. But why can't they just get Petrie right the first time? My plush is a gold color, which isn't correct, and that blue sure as sunrise isn't correct, either. I think Petrie's a brown type of color.

Petrie isn't blue
He is in the picture of the puppets Petrie posted. :\ Petrie has been gold on other things, if I remember correctly, but I can't remember what kind of products they were.

EDIT:
Blarg, you edited.  :P:

I once had these nice plastic dolls of Littlefoot's and Spike's grown-up forms, (trust me, they were terrible in comparison.) along with Sharptooth.  However, I gave them away to Desert Indistures a few years back.  I imagine some other kid is enjoying them right now. -_-

Aside from that, I had this sticker of baby Littlefoot liking a purple treestar.  Sadly, it couldn't stick on my computer desk and my mom eventually threw it away. :(

And why in the world can't any designer get Petrie's colors right?  Is it really that hard?

I've always wanted these.  I don't know why.  I really have no use for them.  I just really, really want them!

Apart from Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, and Chomper they sold a Mo plush here in Germany. I only ever saw the Mo plush offered at ebay and never in a store though. I got him for my collection.
Sometimes it is really strange though what the producers of LBT plushs come up with. I have seen land before time plush with the characters holding Halloween Pumpkins, the characters dressed up as Pirates, the characters dressed up as Santa Clauses, a Ducky plush holding and American flag, and a Ducky plush holding (get this!) a hotdog!

I know I used to have the Littlefoot hand-puppet. I might have had Ducky and/or Cera, but that's it. We also used to have a Chomper hand-puppet as well. I think we still do, but it's in the basement.

As for plushes, I think the only one we ever had was Petrie.. But Jana tore him apart. On purpose as well, she was no child.

What the treestars? I can't believe it!

Petrie... is blue?

Not usually, unless he's a shiny PokÈmon (y'know, a PokÈmon with a different color scheme)! :lol

It looks like I could make a living resaleing these.

The only difference between those and the ones I have are that there are extra things on the top-left corner of the front of the tags that say I'm a cheapskate and that I bought these at Family Dollar for $3 each (and the tags are slightly wrinkled, anyway). I could buy a set for $15 + tax and then resale them for $35 on eBay. That's what I call good financing -- buy cheap and sell high. :lol

Ducky holding a hotdog, I guess she could eat the bun and the topping and give the meat part to Chomper to eat, unless it's 1 of those fake tofu or vegi-thing made to look like a hotdog.

And what would you make of a Ducky waving the Stars and Stripes? A Ducky holding a Halloween pumpkin? A Spike wearing a pirate's costume? The characters dressed up as Santa Clause respectively firefighters?
I'm making none of these up. They actually sell those... products.

Not sure if pumpkins existed that long ago, but I guess they'd want to play with the pumpkin somehow, at least till Spike ate it and ends their game.

The other stuff is odd, but from a marketing standpoint I can see them doing that, making the characters look cute in this or that way to sell, especially holiday themed ones.  Though the characters would likely not really wear or do certain things like that.

The Watership Down tv series had "Frithmas".    :slap  Not too unusual for cheap commercialization everywhere.

Manny, I've had the same idea before...I once saw maybe a year ago a copy of the LBT original soundtrack (yeah that rare one) for $22 in a record store.  You don't want to know how hard it was to drag myself out of the store without it, knowing what I could sell it for online.  :P:  I think I spent a half hour in there that day.  Its long gone of course, but I didn't rip anyone off due to supply and demand, and another LBT fan somewhere is happy. :)
