Planetside 2 Breaks World Record

Today Planetside 2 broke the world record for "Most Players in a Single Battle", with 2141 players battling it out across the same desert continent.

I was one of them, and wrote a recap of the record-breaking event if anyone wants to read it! It's honestly incredible that technology has progressed to the fact that twelve-hundred players can connect to a single server and there's not even particularly-bad lag or framerate issues. Makes me excited what sort of massively-multiplayer shooters we may be seeing in the future!

That's crazy. How fun that you were a part of it. Yeah the way technology has advanced is amazing (in general). Although I feel we are a bit stagnant these days, there are still a lot of advances to look forward to.
