A New Tale Begins...

OK. So I started drawing the comic.
It's harder than I thought. =/

I haven't finished the outlines of the first pages.
So let's start with the cover instead:

Comic Cover

Story:
Sky lost his friends and wakes up somewhere in the Great Valley.
Not to know what to do now, he makes friends with Littlefoot and the others.
They go on a journey to find Sky's lost friends. But will they find them?

Some years ago I drew cover art for a story I have been writing trying to include some story elements in the cover. This is your thread so I don't want to put up any pictures here, but if you are interested in taking a look, here are two links to an early version and a later version of that story's cover.

I would really like to put some story elements to the cover but I hadn't got an idea. :unsure:
But it's there now so I'll stay with it.

I love it

An interesting beginning to start so much from a character's personal point of view rather than some camera perspective. Did you take inspiration from another comic, book, or movie? I think I have seen something remotely similar somewhere, but I can't pinpoint it. In any case I'm looking forward to see the story continue and unfold

It's from left to right and up to down. Like a normal comic.
But you can read the words in the 2nd panel in any order you want.

Glad you like it. =)
I got the scene from a game. It is called "Kingdom Hearts" where the main character
"falls" like Sky here in the beginning. (don't expect a KH-like story line xD)
But I know I saw a movie with a scene like that. But I can't remember. :unsure:

There aren't many LBT webcomics (that's what I'm calling this. anyway) that I am aware of (DarkHououmon's is the only other one I am aware of). I like the idea! However, you're style and decision to make this a webcomic are making this story progress slowly, so it's too early for me to make an accurate "review" on it. However, the artistry is good, as always. B)

Looking at the last two pictures it seems like Sky is in for an involuntary and painful participation in one of the Gang's fir cone games

You can't rush a good story! Just work on it when you can..that's all we ask!
