OWWWWW!!!!

Last Friday I woke up with this huge lump in my throat. Then last Sunday a bunch of white spots appeared on my tonsils so I went to the doctor and they assumed I had strep throat. But then yesterday it got progressively worse where the white blotches turned into giant canker sores. So I went back to the doctor and he said that I had a viral infection that causes ulcers to form on my tonsils and throat cavity. I can't even swallow my own spit without feeling intense, burning/stinging pain! He said the infection was caused by stress and was most commonly found in teenagers because of High School.

So now I'm stuck at home all week being unable to eat anything at all and being unable to drink water without the special oral gel my doctor prescribed. I have never been in so much pain in my whole life!

Boy, that sucks. I know what that is like. I remember when I had strep throat it hurt so much that every time I swallowed, it felt like I was swallowing broken glass.

Ugh. I've had sore throats before that made swalloing food and drink a chore, but you're description sounds truly horrific. I pray for a speedy recovery.

Anyways, I'll bet you needed the time off of school if you got big white sores from it. Ouch! -_-

Oh, I am really sorry for you about this. I had this shit too. I think I was 4 years old. XD. I don¥t really know, but when I coun¥t all my visits in a hospital, I think I could count a long time

While I get tonsillitis time and again I don't remember anything as serious as what you described. Put on scarfs and get well soon. All the best to you.

I've never heard of anything this serious before and its cause (and I'm quite stressed with grad stuff so maybe I ought to be worried). Get well soon.
