As for the definition on Murphy's/Sod's Law...it's more along the lines of:

"If something has the potential to screw up, then give the chance...it will!"

For example, the classic "dropping buttered toast". Using Sod's Law, more times than less, a piece of buttered toast will land butter side DOWN to cause as much mess as possible rather than landing butter side up and minimising mess.

Or...how many times have you bought something thinking you've got the best deal and you wonder into another shop and you find exactly the same product but CHEAPER! That's another example of Sod's Law

LOL! Think this would make a great sub-section in the Party Section alongside the jokes. How has Sod's law hit you? PMSL!
