"Let us hope they don't discover the dark one. Otherwise they could defeat us all." Said Argaya, a tone of fear in her voice.

"I think we are safe for now. I'll go get some firewood." Said Vylor, and rushed out into the storm as fast as he could.

"He'll be back shortly." Said Argaya.

Longtail nodded, took a deep breath, let his eye color change back to normal. "Hey wait up...I wanna go to!" he called as he ran after Vylor.

Chomper, Littlefoot, & Ruby made it to the caves where Chomper and Ruby stayed. They ran inside, Chomper running along the side of Littlefoot so the wind would partially blocked by Littlefoot and he'd not be blown away. They ran inside the caves and went in a bit deeper when they saw some debre and such from outside was being carried inside the cave.

Mim continued walking with Cyrix, for now not saying anything and keeping her thoughts to herself.

Petrie was flying along trying to find a grown up to tell about the red three horns when the storm came in and he was blown into a tree. He decided it best to hold onto the trunk as well as he could so he could not be blown away. He flattened himself against the tree trunk so the wind could not get purchase to blow him off wishing the whole time the big blowy wind would go away.

Vylor and Longtail were rushing to the spot where they could gather firewood.

"Could you hold these?" said Vylor to Longtail as he broke some branches off with magic.

Longtail nodded and using his tail held the wood Vylor was giving him, and he had to continually brace himself from the winds that blew though the valley threatening to blow him away...

Cyrix continued to walk still wondering what Korr had planed for the valley and his nephew...but as he looked over at Mim to ask her a question....he realized that he had to protect her as well as Longtail...and he also knew he would give it his all.

Chomper, Littlefoot, & Ruby remained in Chomper & Ruby's caves. Littlefoot went a bit near the entrance to look outside to see how bad the storm was.

"I still think I should have tried to tell my grandparents where I am." Littlefoot said.

"I think they would rather you seek safety then risk yourself trying to tell them were you are going to." Ruby said.

"Yea, you can tell them later." Chomper said.

Littlefoot nodded, not entirely sure but seeing their point. "Ok. I just hope everyone else is ok." He said.

"We won't know till we know and we can't know till the storm is over and we can go outside." Ruby said.

While still bracing against the wind...Longtail said to Vylor "I think we've got enough for now...and I'm starting to get cold, come on lets get back to the cave!"

Cyrix still looking at Mim thought about his question and then asked "Mim I don't know what Korr is planning to do....and if he gets his way I...we...may lose Longtail...and I don't want that to happen...but am I really strong enough to keep him....and you safe?" putting emphasis on his last part of the sentence.

Mim pats Cyrix on the back and side. "We'll do what must be done, even if means Korr and his buddies will leave this world. If we have to leave the Great Valley, I'm still welcome in Berry Valley and I"m sure you and Longtail would be also." Mim said patting Cyrix on the back and side still to try to reassure him.

Cyrix smiled as he said "Thank you Mim I barely know you and you still offer to help us and give me hope....thank you so very much!" And before he could stop himself, Cyrix had reached out and hugged Mim. He was blushing there was no doubt about that, but at this point he really didn't care.

Mim was a bit surprised, but after a second or two hugged Cyrix back. "Things will be better, and we'll see this as an adventure to tell to others someday."

Having recieved no answer, Dante had grown bored of sitting inside the cave, so he went to stand outside and practice his fighting techniques, heedless of the wind around him...

Korr smiled wickedly as he replied "Yes that sounds like a very good start, but now the question is which one?" Then he had an idea..."Let's go after Topsy daughter Cera...this is going to be easy and a lot of fun...now lets' get to work!"
