Argaya closed her eyes.
"Vylor, what did you feel for when looking for your magic?"

"A small bump in my mind." Replied Vylor.

There it is!

Argaya's mouth opened, and a stream of flame shot from it. The pile began to burn as though it were dry.

"Wow...that's amazing!" said Longtail "I wish I could breath fire." 'Oh but my son...you can do so much more than you believe...just trust in yourself and you will see....when the time comes.' Longtail smiled as he again heard his mothers voice and he welcomed it with pride and joy.

"Wait... Guys, we got trouble. You know those two presences you sensed earlier, Vylor? Well, one of them is my brother... and they're after Cera!"

Then Dante turned to Vylor and said...
"I only hope that we will not be too late. Virgil is utterly merciless. And if the presence that was after Longtail was Korr... we must pray for Cera's safety..."

"Hey guys I feel....different...I need to step outside for a moment." called Longtail from the front of the cave. He couldn't understand what he was doing, or more importantly how he was about to pull this off...but he would try at least that much he knew for sure.

"Longtail! Wait up!" Dante ran after him, before standing outside the cave.
"You're planning to do something reckless, aren't you? If so, then I'm going with you... my friend."

"Agreed." Said Argaya, and the two focused their minds on Longtail and Dante.

He smiled and said to Dante "No not reckless....just something new. I trust myself and that for the moment is all I need." His body began to glow once more, but this time it was brighter than before, and much more intense. Then he held his breath to test a thought....and it worked! Where moments ago there had been a howling wind...there was silence...bone chilling silence.

He then exhaled his held breath and the wind was back, but then he whipped his tail to the left, and the wind followed, then to the right, and again the wind followed. He then slapped his tail against the ground and in the sky a thunder clap could be heard. "Guys...." said Longtail "This just got a lot more fun!"

Dante had tensed from the sound of the thunder, but recovered quickly and looked at Longtail
"Could you please refrain from the thunder? It sorta freaks me out... But for now, we have to go rescue our friend, right?"

Longtail looked over to Dante and said "But of course..." He then looked back towards the cave, and he called out "Hey Vylor Argaya are you two coming, cause I"m going to save Cera!"

Longtail nodded as he said "Alright but you two are going to miss all the fun!" He then started walking towards the center of the valley knowing exactly who he was going after....with the intent of finishing him off.
