My ISP, which was 5mbps download had just upgraded their infrastructure recently and offered a free speed boost to all of their customers of 50%, plus a number of other new free features, including "Powerboost", which basically gives me an extremely high bandwidth for a short period of time (advertised as 5-20 seconds) during downloads, useful for websites and other relatively small files.
The big downside is that my upload speed wasn't upgraded at all. I have pretty quirky-looking results now!

I'm loving the 16+mbps download speed though, I've never seen numbers like this before in my life!
