Actually, you weren't banned. You just forgot your password and I retireved it for you. You were still a member. Putting that picture as your avatar might have gotten you a request from the admins to remove it (if you had ever posted), but I don't think they would've banned you for that picture. Anyways, welcome my old friend.

I really don't remember any bannishment from the GOF because of an Avatar. What kind of Avatar was that anyway?
I'm positive that nobody would be banned for an Avatar without a previous request to change it unless that avatar was of highly offensive or criminal content.
As I said, welcome to the GOF, but please do not tell stories about some kind of harsh banishment policy which does not exist in the GOF. Looking at LBTlovers response it seems that the difficulties you had were not the admins' fault.

He took the admin status image and used it as an avatar. Not too big of a deal and he was not banned at all. He just forgot his password and asked me to recover it. When he joined a long time ago, I told him that it would be a good idea to replace his avatar, but appearantly he forgot his password so couldn't change it. But he did not think he forgot his password, he thought he was banned because he could not log in. Seeing as English is not his primary language, it was a great issue to completely understand his dilemma. So a series of mis communications lead to misunderstandings and he thought he was banned. After I instructed the board to email him his password, he was able to log in again. Now, all is well.
