Hunter sighed as she heard which hospital they were heading to. She then sat down on the floor and said "You should go after them Sieg...I can't set foot in that hospital...for personal and financial reasons."

She then looked to Lady and said "A vigilante huh...just like me...I knew we always had something in common. Care to show me what you've learned while we've been away?"

Tex smiled at Dante and said "Thank you for being here with me and Deva. It means so much to me. I'll bet Hunter and Sieg will be delighted to hear the news." She looked over to Doc who was standing on a nearby wall and asked him...

"When will be getting out of here?"

Doc responded by saying "Only until we are sure that the last major episode in that apartment wasn't something serious."

"So days then?" asked Tex with a frown

"yep." said Doc

"Crap." Was the only word Tex could think of to describe her feelings.

Doc then smiled and said "Don't worry so much, you'll be treated to the best gourmet meals this hospital has to offer, and all the wild Cherry ice cream you can eat."

Tex smiled, kissed Dante on the lips and said "Now that's a compromise.

Sieg said, sounding concerned...

"Show you what I've learned? Sure thing, Hunter. You're on!"
Lady said, reaching behind herself and pulling a large rocket launcher with a blade under the barrel.
"Ready for this?"

Dante smiled at his new mate, new child, and at his new future...

Hunter smiled and said "Maybe later darling..." She then giggled and replied "You can also stop calling me Miss...we are married now right dear?"

Hunter then looked up to Lady and said "Wow...upgraded your toy huh? Well...I think my mastery of Tai-Chi can beat that silly thing!" She then stood up and said to Sieg, "You may wanna stand back, this could be interesting."

Tex nodded and said "Yes...I am tired, so rest would be good." She closed her eyes and drifted quietly to sleep.

Doc smiled and said "Ya know, that whole gourmet food thing also applies to you too. So if you get hungry you can get something to eat."

"Alright...My love. Mind if I join in this little sparring bout? Oh, and Hunter...Here's a gift for you."
Sieg reached back behind himself, producing a delicately engraved tai-chi sword, with the word love carved on one side, and the word forever on the other side, as well as both their names on the guard.
"So...Is everyone ready?"

Hunter smiled and started crying as she took the sword from Sieg. She nodded her head and replied "This...is the...g-greatest gift...I-I've ever gotten...thank you Sieg!" She then gave him a kiss on the cheek and said "Yeah, you can join this fight...on one condition. If you accept this gift from me."

Hunter then reached behind her and in her hand as she pulled it back around was a gold plated revolver six shooter with the words Love and Heaven engraved on the handle, and both their names engraved on the barrel.

"I hope you like it." she said with a tear still in her eye.

Doc then smiled and Dante and said "Ya know...I guess you're right...well better now then never! My name Rocker...and in case you couldn't tell...I..am...ugh...this is never easy."

Rocker sighed and continued "I'm Killer's cousin."

Sieg gently took the weapon, placing it into one of his coat's inner pockets. The closest pocket to his heart, in fact. He kissed Hunter on the cheek, then said...
"Thank you...Hunter... I'll treasure this for the rest of my days. Now then..."
He turned to face Lady, drawing his blade as he did so, the katana's edge gleaming in the light.
"Are we ready to get started?"

"Oh? So that means that you're related to Deva. And don't worry, I won't judge you based on your family. After all, my bro's one of the cultists too. It's all cool, Rocker."
Dante said, leaning back in his chair and shutting his eyes lightly...

Hunter placed the newly given sword on her back and into a sheath that she had recently bought. 'Never thought I'd get a chance to use this thing.' She then took up a battle stance and said "Okay let's get this star-"

She stopped mid sentence as she said "Perhaps it would be wiser to have our little test outside of Dante's apartment. I mean I'd be pissed if I came home and saw it in pieces."

Rocker smiled and said sounding rather shocked "Wh-what?! What are you talking about...related to Deva?"

He then added a "Thank you." to Dante for not showing any hostility towards him. He wasn't sure Tex would feel the same way when she awakened, but he would have to wait for that to happen.

Lady said, heading for the door...
"That's not a problem for me."
Sieg nodded, following the others...

Hunter was confused as she walked outside with Lady and Sieg as she asked "Wait...why twice? And for what reason?"

Rocker turned around after hearing the news and punched a hole in the wall with his fist and started shaking. He then walked outside the room to let Dante, Tex and the baby get some rest while he thought about what he'd just heard.

Lady laughed, then replied to Hunter.
"Well, the first time was because his brother attacked and totaled the place. The second one, though, was Dante trying to modify one of his motorcycles, with...explosive results, to say the least..."

Dante looked at the hole in the wall, then sighed and thought to himself...
"Wonder what's eating him? I'll have to ask about it later..."
Before he leaned his head to rest on Tex's shoulder and dozed off...

Hunter smiled and started laughing at Lady's answers to her question. She then asked as she took a battle stance "What kind of materials was he using to blow up his motorcycle and apartment?"

Rocker was standing in the hallway just punching holes into the walls. He was pissed and anyone walking by could see that. He then said to himself 'I hate him...I want to see him dead...If I ever find my brother...I'm going to KILL HIM!'

"He wasted so much of our families life and spirit. Killer...you waste of space. And now you did this?! I swear by the gods I will kill you myself, and if I fail in that task...I'll find you in the afterlife and send you down below myself!"

Lady thought for a second, then replied...
"The nut was trying to attach two nitro tanks to his bike. The results were...unexpected to say the least..." Lady laughed...

Dante opened one eye as he heard the commotion that Rocker was making outside.
"Wow. Whatever he's got on his mind's got him pretty PO'ed. He needs to mellow out..." Dante thought...

Hunter burst out laughing as she heard Lady talking about the experience and she asked "So how did you find out about the happy fire hour in Dante's apartment?"

She then looked to Sieg and blushed as she waited for her answer.

Rocker's vision was going blurry from his anger. He took several deep breaths and started to walk back to where Tex and Dante were staying, while at the same time removing a syringe from his pocket.

He then said "It's a good thing I keep this things in heavy supply for times like this!" And just as he opened the door to Tex's room, he shoved the syringe in his arm and sighed deeply as he collapsed on the floor fully sedated and quickly going unconscious.

Lady kept laughing, struggling to breathe as she responded...
"Well, you try missing a huge explosion that rocks almost half a mile sometime, and then tell me about it. And by the way, was that explosion from around here your work?"
She then looked at the pair of them looking at each other and blushing, and added...
"Oh, and you two have got to tell me how you ended up together. Have ya...y'know...yet?"

Sieg turned even redder as she said this. and his mouth worked soundlessly, at a loss for words...

Dante saw Rocker inject himself, and quickly and silently stood, moving over to the unconscious doctor. With one arm, Dante heaved him onto his shoulder and dropped him in a chair before returning to his spot next to Tex. Before dozing off again, he said one word, to himself...
"Idiot..."

Hunter blushed as she nodded her head and said "Yeah...it was...that diner I love...I kinda tossed a hand grenade inside it, sorry. They served some tail kicking cheesecake though." She then caught what Lady had said and turned purple from blushing and several moments of not breathing.

Hunter then took a deep breath and stuttered out "N-no...well...yes...b-but..it...well...I umm...well thats to say...oh..." She was still blushing and her scales were only getting redder by the moment as she tried to explain and then she turned to Sieg and asked

"Maybe we should wait for Tex to come back to explain it?"

His internal clock was ringing, but thanks to the drugs Rocker wasn't feeling or hearing a thing. He smiled in his sleep as his hands clenched together and he started to laugh lightly...he was dreaming of his vengance against Killer, and he was enjoying every minuet of it.

Until Deva began to cry that is. Her soft yet loud cries were enough to just barely bring Rocker out of his drug enduced sleep...barely!

Tex however was up in a heart beat cradling the baby in her arms and making cooing sounds. She then turned to Dante and asked "Is there anything for the baby to drink?" She then turned to Rocker and asked "Is he okay?"

"Y-yeah, Tex should probably be..the one to...explain all of this..."

Dante looked over at Rocker.
"Oh, him? He just injected himself with a sedative right in the dang doorway. He'll live."
He then moved towards the door, saying...
"They probably have something around here. After all, it is a hospital..."
And smiled as he headed outside the room...

Hunter nodded and said "S-so Lady, why did you ask about the explsion around here? Did you work at that diner or something?"

At that moment Rocker threw his right hand into the air and pointed at Tex as he slurred "W-why...not no you...feed breast feed....baby...milk....of fire...haha."

Tex was confused...very confused.
"What's he stammering about Dante?" She then turned to Rocker and asked "What's one plus one?"

His answer was less than perfect.
"FINLAND!"

Tex laughed and said "Yeah, he'll be fine."

"No. Just curious, that's all. When I heard something exploding, I thought it might be you."

Dante looked over at Rocker for a moment, then walked over to Tex and whispered in her ear...
"I think that captain Drugged-up over there asked why you don't just breast-feed her."

Hunter smiled and said "It almost was me getting blown up...but I had to rescue Sieg over here. Poor guy can't take a bullet to the leg apparently." She then giggled at the memory.

Tex blushed at the thought. Yet it surprised her that she hadn't thought of that...she was wondering if she should try it. She looked down at Deva who was still crying, and sighed as she said to Dante
"Okay...I'll try."

She shifted her weight on the bed and placed Deva under her shirt and blushed. This was embarrassing, but enjoyable to her. She then looked at Dante and blushed harder as she said "keep an eye on Captn' Druggie over there...if he gets a boner...he's a dead man!"

Dante walked back over to Rocker, casually using his thumb to hit a pressure point. Rocker promptly dropped back unconscious, mostly thanks to the sedative in his system.
