Hunter smiled at Sieg and said "Yeah...that's true too...but even then I had a crush on you...so I was hoping I'd get to save you sometime...and I'm glad I did."
She then blushed and asked "Did you take that bullet for me by accident or were you trying to win my heart?"

Tex smiled and said "Thanks...ya know...this feels kinda nice...breast feeding and all." She blushed as she continued "This is one of the happiest moments in my life...I have a family...a real family, and...."

She begins to cry and laughing at the same time she says "Even if Killer is crazy....I have to thank him for this wonderful gift...and you for sticking by me until the end Dante."

"Really, it was a little of both. But mostly... I was trying to win your heart. I really thought that you were something special from the moment we met, and the longer I was with you, the more I liked you. So I was trying to save you. Getting shot in the leg was... unexpected."

"You know I could never leave you. Not when I love you as much as I do. Not to mention that...yeah, it is nice to have...a real family."
He said, leaning his face next to hers to look at Deva...

Hunter smiled and blushed at Sieg and said "Well...that's nice to know. So...fate does exists after all...well...and here I was going to give my theory on fate being a load of b.s. to the city council...guess that plan's out the window."

Hunter then asked Lady, "Do you know my personal motto?"

Tex blushed as Dante kissed her. She then said "Yeah...a family...is nice to have...when they love each other."

And although he was out cold from the medication and the recent pressure point hit from Dante...it didn't mean Rocker still couldn't have a nightmare.

"GET BACK!" He shouted as he continued saying "You've disgraced this family...you've let mom, dad and even me down...now...leave...or stay and die by my hand..."

He then said something that caught Tex by surprise...

"And now you have to nerve to pull this....don't lie to me...she told me herself...after what you did...this is going to be soooo much fun!" He then made several stabbing motions with his left hand laughing while he did it.

Hunter giggled and said "I have two personal mottos. Here is the first: Eat cheesecake or die.

"...and my really personal favorite: Every Hunter needs a killer. Although to be truely honest...I'm going to change that killer part to lover....and you can guess why." She then looked to Sieg and smiled slyly.

Tex sighed and whispered to Dante "He must feel betrayed. I can't imagine what's he's had to deal with when the subject of his family comes up."

She then smiled at Dante's second remark and replied "No...I want this to be a surprise...a big surprise. Hunter is never going to believe this!"

Hunter blushed as she then had a confused look on her face as she asked "What were we doing again?" She then looked at Sieg and said "Well whatever the reason is I'm sure I'm going to have to save you again."

Tex frowned as she said "I-I didn't know that...i'm sorry for you." But then as she looked into his eyes while holding a now sleeping Deva she smiled too and then said, "First thing I'm teaching Deva to do....is talk back to Hunter and steal her cheesecake." She then giggled at that last thought.

Dante said, then laughed at Tex's plan...
"That ought to be pretty funny. I can't wait until she's old enough to do both!"

Hunter smiled and replied to Sieg, "Yeah, we'll just see wont we?"

She then took her battle stance now remembering she had the personalized sword on her back from her mate. She smiled as she was getting giddy with excitement. "This should be quite interesting...ready Lady, I'm not holding back!"

Tex turned her head as she heard a crash sound from behind her. She then saw the cause...Rocker was walking around on his hands.

"Okay, this is weird...first the stabbing, and now this...I wonder what his deal is...I think he needs a vacation."

Rocker meanwhile was dreaming about doing a hi-wire act in a circus...just like when he was a kid. He was having fun too...that is until he bumped into a wall that happened to have a defibrillator on it.

And it was fully charged. He found out as 20,000 volts of lighting surged through his butt and he screamed like a little girl for several long minutes.

He then fell over his coat smoking from the discharge. He blinked and croaked "O-ow...."

Hunter had to admit...she felt bad for him, but the light show was a good one.

Hunter ducked under Lady's first move, and smiled. "Just like old times." She said aloud throwing a punch towards Lady's face. "Dodge this!" She shouted.

Tex smiled and replied, "Yeah, I'll bet he's up now!" Even Deva found that funny as she laughed and clapped her hands causing Tex to smile brighter. "There may be hope for you yet little Deva!" she said as she giggled at her daughters antics.

"Okay. I will!" Lady yelled, dodging back by planting her rocket launcher's blade in the ground and backflipping over the handle, aiming a kick at Hunter in retaliation.
Sieg had jumped directly up to dodge the first attack, and now aimed himself at Lady with a dive kick...

Dante was also laughing at Deva's response to Rocker's...mishap.
"Heh. Seems she got your sense of humor, Tex!"
He said, doubled over from laughing so hard...

Hunter didn't move fast enough to dodge the kick and was caught in her jaw.
She stepped back and shook her head clear and said "That was a cheap trick. Now for a real fight!" She then used her tail to try and trip Lady while at the same time throwing a punch for good measure.

Tex laughed as well. She was glad that her daughter had found that funny. She then looked over as Rocker finally started to get up.

He was still smoking and shaking as he said "W-what....happened?" but then he looked down and frowned at the machine on the floor and said "Awww....crap. Not again!"

Tex just giggled more and said "Well you were kinda asking for it walking on your hands."

Rocker just sat back down in the chair and smiled. "You two are the perfect couple." he said with a grin.

Tex blushed in reply looking at Dante

Sieg landed next to Hunter, adding a roundhouse kick at Lady's legs.
"Take this!" He said as the kick swept towards her...
"Two on one? That hardly seems fair!"
Lady yelled, blocking Sieg's kick with a forearm, but then falling over Hunter's sweep

Dante asked, looking at Rocker and chuckling. Then he looked at Tex and started blushing as he added...
"Thanks for saying that, Rocker."

"I don't recall you saying this HAD to be fair..." Said Hunter with a sly smile on her face as she threw a punch towards Lady while she was still on the ground.

Hunter knew that kind of move was dishonest but right now she was into the fight, and almost nothing was going to stop her.

Rocker smiled at Dante's question and said "Yeah I do...since I was seven. Don't know why either. I remember a circus and the ring leader asking for a volunteer but then everything gets blurry."

He then chuckled as he replied "I wouldn't say it if it weren't true." He then looked at Tex and said "I can pull a few strings and get you out of here tomorrow morning if you'd like."

Tex smiled brightly and said "You can...that would be great!"

Then Rocker got a confused look on his face as he asked "Do you have a sister Tex?"

Tex face fell as she said "I had...a sister...she...she died many years ago. i think at this very hospital." She then began to cry.

That wasn't the reaction he was expecting as he said "I know this is hard for you, but was your sisters name by any chance Halley 'Hex' Southpaw would it?" He looked to Dante as Tex was now hysterical and didn't answer. He then asked "Do you know her sister?"

Lady rolled to her feet, kicking Sieg in the chest and throwing him backwards before aiming her weapon's bayonet at Hunter's head...

Hunter barely saw the blade coming...but threw her head back just in time. As she did, the balde chipped a scale off her nose and she went cross eyed trying to see it all happen. She then landed flat on her back and rolled away from Lady to try and get her thoughts straight.

'That...was too close....almost lost my head. But if she wants to play...then I'll be happy to play!'

She then retreved the blade from her back and let the street light shiine off it...as she said "This is going to be fun!"

Just then the blade began to glow.

Tex took a deep breath as she said "Y-yes....Dante. I remember..." She then took another breath and gave Rocker a death glare.

"If you....EVER bring up my sister again....I'll crush you!"

Rocker however had a rather confident smile on his face as he then said "Oh...what a shame...I'm sure you'd like to see her one last time right?"

Tex was now shaking with a mixture of rage and sorrow as she said "M-m-maybe...just...once."

Rockers smile boradened as he said "Good...we can put Deva in the nursery and you two can follow me."

Tex was still scowling as she said "Dante...could you help me...out of this bed?" She then said "Deva stays with me!"

Sieg flipped through the air, landing heavily on his feet.
"So...Now we can fight for real, hm?"
He said, drawing his blade, facing the others...

Hunter smiled and replied "Oh yeah...now the fight really begins!" She then swept the sword towards Lady attempting to get her to jump. 'I hope this move works...I still haven't gotten it down yet. Best case Lady gets winded....Worst case...I get impaled....wow...the latter option sucks...oh well no time now!'

She was hoping against hope that this move of hers didn't hurt her or Lady too badly, but one could never be sure.

Tex was surprised at how well she could stand after just giving birth. However she pushed that thought aside as she smiled at Dante and said "Thanks."

She then turned to Rocker and said "Show us. NOW!"

Rocker nodded his head and walked out the door without a word, with Tex and Deva right on his tail.

Lady did indeed jump, then swung her rocket launcher in front of herself, quickly parrying a strike from Sieg.
"Nice try you two!"
She laughed, ready for the next attack to come...
