The adults nod their heads in agreement. Guan decides to lighten the mood further by changing the subject.

"So when do we leave for the Great Lake?" he asked Zila.

"The Great Lake! We almost completely forgot about that," Goanna added.

"We leaving soon as everyone that going is here" Zila said calmly "Till then we wait"

"Father who need to come?" Turio asked

"Ducky, her mum and step dad, Petrie and his mother, Ali and her mother that all we waiting for" Zila said to his son then look at the others.

"I hope they get here soon," Goanna said, sitting down next to her father. "I don't want to miss anything by being late."

"But it won't be any fun if we leave anyone behind," Donna responded, sitting down on the other side of her dad.

"We won't leave anyone behind," Spikefoot said to both of them. "And I'm sure we won't be late, either."

Just as they spoke about the 5 they was coming. Ducky, Petire, Ducky's mum and Petire's mum and Sam was walking up to them.

"We sorry we've late we forgot about today, lucky..." Ducky's mum paused looking at Tops "Mr Threehorn!?"

"Yes... Tops if you may" Tops spoke

"Erm... ok Tops" Sam said with a stutter.

Zila coughed "Well if we all here should we begin the journey?" Zila changed the subject looking at them.

Guan, Goanna, Donna, and Littlefoot quickly got up to their feet in anticipation to Zila's question. Odon and Spikefoot followed more slowly.

"Woohoo!" cried Donna. "Let's go to the Great Lake!"

"Let's still keep watch out for any danger along the way," Odon said. "We may end up crossing paths with sharpteeth getting there."

"I agree," responded Grandpa. "We must all stay together and not wander off."

"We should have the children towards the center of the group to keep them safe," suggested Spikefoot, looking around. "Anything else we should consider?"

"Well once you get there the path that I been told about has some type well smell that Sharpteeth only smell and it well sticks alot to them and Grandparents said it made them sneeze as well. that maybe why the Great Lake has no sharpteeth attacks natural defences." Zila said. "So we will travel by day and sleep by night with one of each of the adults take it in turn to watch out for trouble a time passing trade. after a time one will wake the next then he takes the turn on looking out for trouble." Zila said the plan to keep everyone safe.

"A good plan from you like always Zila" Tops laughed. "Well for once that watch is left to you lot and I get plently of rest... one good thing over all bad things being a child again" Tops said.

Odon rolls his eyes to Tops' words. Spikefoot and Grandpa chuckles.

"Well then," Guan started, "let's go. We need to cover a lot of ground today before nightfall."

Odon and Spikefoot nod in agreement, and everyone starts taking positions in the group. Grandma and Grandpa hold the end of the group while Spikefoot, Odon, and Guan, who's positioned closer to the children in the center, take on one side of the group, leaving room on the other side and the lead for Zila and the others.

They start the journey and walk. They arrive at Threehorn Peak by low point sun in the sky. Zila looks at the sky then at the peak "We at one point of the journey. The next route is to travel right from here but looks like sun set will come at any time soon." Zila said looking at the sun.

"Yeah I see it father the night circle is making it self known look it there but not shining" Turio points to the night circle on the other side of the blue sky but dull and round.

"I seen that lots of times soon as they came the bright circle is going to go down" Tops said looking at the others mainly have to look up at the others.

Grandpa sees the setting sun as well. "Then we might have to stop and rest for the night. As Zila has said, some of us should take turns on watch for sharpteeth or any other trouble that may appear."

"I volunteer for the first watch," Odon said.

"And I'll take a following watch," Spikefoot added, and then looks at Guan. "You're old enough to take watch with someone. Anyone you want to take watch with?"

Guan thinks for a moment. "Um...I'll go with you, Dad."

"I will take thrid watch" Zila said calmly to them as the sun set even lower.

Tops looked at Littlefoot "Still being edging around me? why may I ask?" Cera looks at Littlefoot as well.

Littlefoot blinks. "Pardon? Oh that. I'm...still trying to get used to...well...what's going on."

Grandpa was unable to hear the conversation between Littlefoot and Tops. "I'll take the fourth watch with Grandma."

Grandma nods in agreement.

Littlefoot agrees with Tops' suddestion and settles in with other kids in the center of the group. Odon takes the first watch, looking out around the area for anything. Donna and Goanna sleep closer to their dad, while remains fully awake while he lies there, confused. Other than the chirping of crickets, he could hear a couple of sound sleepers in the group, one of them happens to be Spike. Grandma and Grandpa also doze off to sleep, with Littlefoot following behind.

Cera settles with the kids and see her dad stay a bit away on his own "Daddy come over here, it be warmer... I know your a kid and well don't like it much but please sleep with us..." Cera asked him

"Erm alright..." Tops said very unconfortable voice walking over to them and lays down beside Cera "All I say is that don't get use to this." Tops muttered to her closing his eyes.

"I will take 5th watch" Sam said before Zila could speak "Since Zila knows the way to the Great Lake he a bit too importment" Sam spoke

"Becareful dear" Ducky's mum said to him.

"I will" Sam smiled.

Zila nods "Alright I'll agree" Zila replied

Guan continues to listen to the voices around him as he lays there, noticing how bright the stars are now. As his vision slowly begins to adjust to the night, he could see the shape of his uncle moving around the group, watching the outskirts of the land carefully.

Tops felt a bit uncomfertable laying with the kids he looked at them all start to settle down. A wish caused him to be trapped in a childs body and in his mind he was still a adult but the childhood feelings from having fun to enjoying themselves as kids was he felt strong in him again and his little short fuse.

"I hope after the night of these three moons I turn back this is getting silently disturbing for me" Tops mumbled to himself.

As the day begins to break in the eastern horizon, Odon and Spikefoot, quickly followed by Guan, were the first to wake up. Guan looks over to see that Sam was finishing the final watch. The watch he took with his father was awkwardly silent, with neither one getting into anything more than small talk. There was actually nothing he could be able to say to his dad after all the years since they lost him. He shook his thoughts aside, and decides not to think anymore about it.

Spikefoot goes to wake up his daughters, whom both of them reacted with an annoyed moan. Grandpa and Grandma were waking up also, giving Littlefoot a gentle nudge to wake him up. Spike, however, remained snoring as loud as he did when he went to sleep.

Cera and Tops on the other hand was awake and ready for a loud noise from a hollow tree after Cera remembered what Littlefoot did in the Great valley with the lesson with Mr Thicknose.

"one" Cera started

"Two" Tops said after her

"Three" both said and blowed hard into the hollow log creating a large bowing noise which startled everyone even waking Spike up everyone looking around where it came from but then heard hard laughing turning to see Cera and Tops laughing hard that they fell on their backs.
