As Littlefoot finally pulled F-22 off hyp F-22 said "I'm sorry I'm normally not violent but when I get pushed around is when I get started though I really didn't see hyp comming and we bumped into eachother one thing lead to another and we started beating each other senseless'." Yeah that about sums it up' said hyp. "I'm sorry hyp' said F-22. "I'm sorry too' replied hyp. "By the way I'm F-22" said F-22 "It's nice to meet you' said hyp. F-22 checked his face "You might fight well against a fastbiter' said F-22 "Really' asked Hyp. "Sure" said F-22. "Just wait till you're older ok' said F-22 "Ohh that's what all the adults say' said hyp. "You're not so bad yourself" said hyp. F-22 then said "Sooo what are we going to do while we wait for cera and wayne to come down". 'I don't know" said hyp and littlefoot in unison. F-22 sighed and asked "Yes well Who's hungry'

At the sound of the noise Mim stood up and walked part way to see what was going on, seeing it was resolved she went back to where she Kor and the others were and sat back down to continue to rest and eat.

"What was noise?" Petrie asked looking in the direction the noise came from.

"Just a disagreement that was resolved." Mim said.

"Sounds like there was fighting. Fighting is not good, no it certainly is not." Diver said shaking her head.

"This time it was brief, just a misunderstanding." Mim said.

Kor nodded sighing, "Those do happen now and then."

Chomper leaned against a tree and started to doze lightly.

"Sounds like Hyp was up to no good again" Cera look down the hill then at Wayne "are you done looking?"

"Just about, your not one for waiting around are ya?" Wayne questioned

"Not really" Cera answered

"then lets go back down, the view from here be always here, whatever going on down there isn't" Wayne said and start heading back down.

Cera nods "Good point. But limit the longneck adult talk" Cera said and walks down as well.

"What?" Wayne stopped for a second as Cera passed and she didn't reply and he walked on after her and he knew she'd won't repeat herself twice so he left it at that.

"Maybe we could Brian but not today, the bright circle high and I got children to teach that a little younger then Littlefoot and his friends. Nice meeting you" Mr Thicknose said and start to walk off towards the thundering falls.

Rick looked down and Longtail looked up as Cera and Wayne were coming down from the top of the lookout. "Its about time!" said the duo simultaniously, which prompted Longtail to look up and give a fustrated sigh. Rick smiled again and said "Yeah...I know, we need to stop doing that. It's creeping me out too."

Rick then asked "So, Wayne how was the view?"

'Hmmm, not much of a talker.' thought Brian as he bit into another limb of leaves. ' Ah well, perhaps I should start brainstorming about that stone. Or perhaps I should do something.... productive.'

He turned and studied the location that he was in, a small area surrounded by just a few trees and a small waterhole with a few nearby boulders.

'Not much to work with.' thought Brian 'But its a start.'

and with that, he set to work, er.... something to that effect.

"It was amazing up there, you could really see much of the Great Valley from up there" Wayne spoke to Rick "It not something that you see everyday. So what the plan?" Wayne then questioned on what they'll do next

"I did suggest we could go to the Tall Grass" Cera said about her suggestion from before.

"Yeah..that sounds like fun!" said Longtail with a smile.

Rick nodded in response and said "Sure...but if we have to do anything dangerous..like say, oh cross a bubbling mud pit...I'll be more than happy to carry anyone across that might need the help." He then looked at Cera out of the corner of his eye remembering what had happened in the second movie, and wanting to prevent another incident like that from happening.

"No cross sinking sand, or bubbling mud." Petrie said remembering their incident with the sinking sand as well.

"That would be bad, it certainly would." Diver said nodding, not having gone near there but hearing about it.

"What are you talking about? we can get there by walking now. A while back a earthshake caused land to fill in some of the bubbling mud making it crossable and how do you know about the bubbling mud if you haven't been there and not seeable from up there" Cera said then questioned Rick with her eyes looked at the large longneck.

"We did walk by some bubbling mud when we just arrived right Rick? and I kind of did see something that look like a land bridge, didn't you Rick?" Wayne said quickly thinking up a story to cross link and not get Cera questioning things right this moment to the point of figuring it all out.

Rick nodded and said "Yes, Cera Wayne is right. We did pass a bubbling mud pit on the way here. I guess I just missed the land bridge because I was too excited to see the valley. Sorry." He looked down with a nervous smile, hoping he hadn't made a mistake. 'I really need to watch what I say around Cera...too quick for her own good.' thought Rick to himself.

Longtail then said "Well what are we waiting for, let's get going...the bright circle isn't going to wait for us all day!"

"Bubbling mud part filled in, then maybe ok to cross." Petrie said.

"I hope it is, I certainly do." Diver said nodding, hoping it was, the it would be safer for everyone.

"Only way to know is travel there for sure." Kor said.

"If we're going now I better wake Chomper up." Mim said as she put a hand on Chomper's shoulder to gently waken him up.

Brian meanwhile was still busying himself about his little 'project' and soon he finished up and took a step back.

"Ah, Brian... bored much?" he asked himself.

With a stone and a thick almost rectangular piece of wood that he found in the nearby woods and another rock, he successfully assembled a basic catapult.

"Now... what the heck do I need a catapult for?" he wondered "Perhaps I should had assembled something a bit more useful. But my imagination fails me!"

"Well, well, who do we have here...one of the new travelers if I'm not mistaken." The voice belonged to Grandpa longneck who stepped out of the surrounding foliage and looked down at Brian and asked "May I ask what you have there? It seems...unique."

"Unique?" asked Brian turning to meet the elderly longneck "Hmm, maybe... Its a bit crude, but effective. You may want to watch your head."

Brian leaped forward towards the catapult and landed on the opposite end from the rock sending the stone soaring into the air and into the woods.

"Aye... a bit more weight would had sent it over the walls of this here valley." said Brian getting off the catapult and looking over it with a pondering expression.

Grandpa longneck chuckled and said "Indeed that is what would have happened. You are very intelligent...tell me...have you had a chance to speak to Mr. Thicknose since your arrival here? You two would seem to get along well."

"I believe I have. Nice chap, though not much for conversation."

Brian reached over and plucked a coconut from a nearby palm tree and cracked it in half against the trunk, taking one half and using it as a cup to drink the sweet liquid on the inside.

"Said he had some bit of teaching to do with the valley kids." he continued "funny though, those kids are still giving a tour around the valley to the other far walkers."

Brian sipped his coconut juice and gave a sigh of satisfaction. "Oh, excuse my manners!" he said suddenly and he held aloft the coconut cup "Coconut juice?"
