"I'm your friend, and you can confide in me. I'm very good at keeping secrets, I've been keeping them for ages. Literally. " Stripetail continued. "I understand if your past is painful, and that you are not proud of some of the things you did or what your captors had done to you. But to fully make peace with yourself, you must come completely clean. To yourself, and to others, if and when you feel up to it."

"I never had the option of coming clean, everyone knew what I did," Cynder snapped angrily. She whirled about and stormed back towards the office.

"Cynder!" Spyro called after her. She didn't stop though. He glanced over at Stripetail, not quite certain what to say.

' A little touchy..' stripetail said. "While everyone in your world, may have known , Spyro. Anyone from another world like myself, would not know. Care to fill me in, my young Friend?" He said turning to Spyro. "What did she do, that causes her such anguish?

"She was captured and corrupted by an evil dragon," Spyro said. "I defeated her and returned her to normal, but I guess she still blames herself a bit for what happened and a few people blamed her, too."

Cynder paused outside of the office and composed herself for a moment before she entered, padding over to a corner.

Stripetail made a face. "thats the nature of the young. when they are raised in evil, that is all they know. But you saved her. Why? You could have left her there, it wouldn't have been any scales off your tail. " Stripetail said in a near nonchalant voice.

Because that is what good people do" Dixie said, coming up to him. "Even if Scooby had been evil in the past, I wouldn't just leave him behind. Its not in my nature.

"She wasn't raised to be evil," Spyro said. "They made her evil with their magic."

Well, there probably had been some raising involved, but it had mostly been the magic. He remember how different Cynder had been after she had shrank back to her true size and age. He had known right away that she was nothing like the evil black dragoness she had been and that was what had made him rescue her from Convexity. She deserved as much a chance at a normal life as anyone.

He blinked, snapping back to reality and smiling a bit.

Do they have names or where they just "the Guardian?" One of my teachers was simple known as "The Sage", that was the only name he answered to, his real name was known only to a few . Ironically, he taught me how to cast love spells. "love spells are not just for witches" He once said. "We all need love, male and female alike. When you love someone, and they return that love, it does not matter what your appearance, your skill with magic, or anything else for that matter may be, that shared love is all you need in life."

"There are many types of love, of course. The love of a parent for their child, brotherly love between siblings, and of course the love of mates for each other. " Stripetail said, His eyes twinkling, as he entered the office.. His gaze went from Scooby to Dixie , and back, pausing for a monent on each. Then he did the same for Spyro and Cynder, who had slowly come out of a corner.

Cynder slowly uncurled herself and headed over to Stripetail and Spyro. "Listen, I'm sorry about throwing a fit earlier..."

She talked very quietly so that the rest of the group, distracted with eating wouldn't overhear her.

"This is the first time I've met anyone without the weight of my past hanging over my head," she explained.

Wataru was watching from his corner of the room, smiling to himself, glad to see that whatever argument that had been going on had been settled. He had no idea what it had been about and he couldn't hear anything from where he was, but he was still glad.

He wished for a moment that some of his own conflicts could have been resolved as quickly.

"That reminds me," Cynder said. "The adults eat meat, right? So what are all of the ones in the cafe eating right now?"

Spyro looked alarm for a moment. "If they can't find any food, they'll probably spread out and search the area, won't they?"

We killed a lot of Shurlups, so they'll probably eat the flesh of their dead brethern.. They will do that on occassion when food is scarce.' stripetail said. Scooby Fliched, as he helped himself to some sausages.

Both Spyro and Cynder made a disgusted face at that.

"I guess it would be best to find someone who has experience with raising animals if we can," Spyro said.

"And maybe someone who eats meat," Cynder suggested glancing at the dinosaurs and their generous helping of vegetables.

Douglas nodded, "Also love of the world you have created and those you have made like Aslan has." Douglas said, remembering one of the places he had popped to.

"This is good food, it is it is." Ducky said.

Snoopy got a himself a drink and a some bacon and a few other things, since it looks some others had gone first and it looked like there was more then enough. Douglas got a bit of food for himself also.

Wataru came forward and took two eggs for himself. Kivat had already finished his sausage.
