"I've never had them," Cynder replied, examining the cooked yoke. "I'll just wait for some meat."

She flicked her tail idly and the shurlup began batting at it, much like a kitten might.

Spyro stopped next to Stripetail. "Is there anything else I can do?" The room was now well clear of debris.

Apart from playing with the Shurlups, theres not much to do now but wait for nick to cook our breakfast. So while we're waiting tell me about yourself. " Stripetail said, his voice dropping to a whisper.

"Well..." Spyro said, not sure where to begin. "I'm a rare purple dragon so I can wield more elements than most dragons. I was raised by dragonflies and Sparx is my adopted brother."

Cynder bent her head and gobbled up one of the eggs. "Mmmmm."

And Cynder?' Stripetail smiled. His smile grew broader as Spyro blushed. "One thing about me Spyro, is that I can always tell when I'm being lied to, so be honest with me no matter how embarassed you may be. How do you feel about her?"

"Um..." the purple dragon glanced over at Cynder, who was helping herself to a second egg. "We're kind of together, I guess."

"Kind of?" Sparx repeated loudly, having fluttered up behind the two and had been eavesdropping. "You're practically-"

Spyro slammed his paw down on the dragonfly, pinning him to the floor and muffling what he was about to say as well as the protests he made.

Well, then... " Stripetail's smile spread across his whole face. "I'm going to do something for you spyro, which will bind the two of you still closer together. And Sparx.. " He turned to the dragonfly, who was wiggling on the ground. "If you say anything about what we talked about just now to Cynder, I'll turn you into a log. "
The look on the squirrell 's face sent a shiver down the dragon's spine. "Cynder,Please come over here... Scooby Dixie please do the same" He said turning to the great Danes.

"MPH! MFF!" was the only reply Sparx could offer.

"What is it?" Cynder asked hoping off of the counter, beating her wings to carry her over to Spyro.

Outside of the cafe, a red motorcycle pulled to a stop. The bike's occupant dismounted and removed his helmet. He was an Asian and appeared to be in his late teens to early twenties. He warbrobe wasn't too strange except for the scarf he wore.

A yellow and black biomechanical bat hovered down next to him. "There it is. I hear their pies are delicious."

Wataru walked over to the cafe and noticed that the windows were dark, but the sign on the door indicated that the cafe was open.

He glanced over at his companion. Kivat shrugged his wings. "Try knocking."

Wataru banged his fist loudly agaisnt the door...

"Cynder, Spyro, I'm going to give you something that I have only given to two others as of yet, Scooby, Dixie. ' Stripetail gestured and a pair of rings formed out midair.

Those look like ours' Dixie said, loking from her ring to those floating in air. "Ro Rhey rave ro rare armor ras rell?' Scooby asked.

"Relationship?" Cynder asked, glancing sideways at Spyro. Spyro shrugged in reply. She sighed, she supposed there really wasn't any point in hiding the fact that Spyro and her were together, more or less. It was still a little annoying to have him talking about it to someone they'd just met.

"How do the rings work?" Spyro asked.

"Looks like no one's there," Wataru said, turning away from the door.

"I can hear a bunch of scrambling around inside though," Kivat said. "Maybe we should take a look."

'They are activated by command. They contain magical sets of armor, which will with repeated use, comform to your body and its shape. This will include your horns' Stripetail said. "These are extremely powerful in thier current , unworn form, once they are on you they will become somewhat less powerful. All you have to do is say "armor up' and they will activate. "armor down" to deactivate/take them off. " he said. he gestured and the rings zoomed down and in a flash wedged themselves onto Spyro and Cynder's paw. once the ring was formly on, an outline of Cynder and Spyro formed on them, with corresponding colors. "I'm trusting you with these, and they will not come off unless i tell them to.' He continued moving around the dragons, his voice a low whisper. "Scooby and Dixie will begin your training after Breakfast, in both essences of the word."

The bell rang again and Nick activated an emergency line he kept in the kitchen it was connected to a lloudspeaker outside . 'hello there' He said into it. Please make your way back to the back of the resteraunt as the dining room is currently under construction'

"It's nice to have a little bit of extra protection," Cynder said, examining the ring.

"Why do they get it?" Sparx asked. "They already have scales, claws, teeth, and bad breath."

Both Kivat and Wataru exchanged surprised expressions as they heard the loudspeaker.

"Um, okay," Wataru said, not sure if the speaker would hear him.

The two turned and headed around the side of the building to the back. They quickly found the door and Wataru opened it.

"Um, hello," Wataru said, staring at the assortment of creatures. Kivat didn't seem the least surprised by the room's unusual occupanents and fluttered into room, spinning around in midair to examine it.

" Nick said, Flipping a few sausages on the grill. "I'm Nick the cook, and co-owner of the resteraunt,. I'll leave it to the others to introduce themselves.By the way Doyuglas, you never mentioned what you wanted to eat.."

"Kivat," the bat-like creature said.

Wataru glanced around the room, smiling nervously. He wasn't scared of any of them, rather he was just very shy. "Um... my name is Wataru Kurenai."

Douglas waved to the new comers, "Hello, how goes?"

Douglas thought it over the shrugged, "Anything is fine with me." He said. "I'm not very picky usually" He said. He thought to himself looking around the cafe that maybe they should have a combat engineer and an earth quake architect expert involved when and if they did rebuild the place, or maybe a bio building that could just rebuild itself through healing.

Ducky & the others stayed with the rest and stayed alert to see if any danger were around. Snoopy took walking sentry duty while using his ears like radar to listen to any sounds of approaching danger.

"We'll have some sausages," Kivat said, flying around the room in a tight circle.

"Why is the dining room closed?" Wataru asked, managing to find an intact chair out of the debris and set it up for himself.

"Shurlup?" Wataru asked. His gaze finally fell upon the dead shurlup on the floor. He frowned. "What is that?"

"That's a shurlup," Cynder said.

"The little ones are kind of cute," Kivat said, scratching the chin of one of the infant shurlups.

Sparx hovered over towards Kivat and the bat glanced up at him. Kivat flapped his wings and shot towards Sparx. The dragonfly screamed and dived out of the way. "What is wrong with you?!"

Kivat frowned. "Sorry. I thought you were just some kind of bug."

Stripetail finished milking the mother shurlup. He had filled nearly two dozen vials with milk, enough to feed the infants for a few months, if rationed.That would enough time to create a synetic version of Shurlup milk.
'Alright, the mother is milked for the first, last and only time. ' he said., finally noticing the two new arrivals. " lord stripetail at your service." He nnodded.
