"Think it'll be hard to make more of that stuff? Douglas asked indicating the Shlurp milk." He then looked at where the food was stored. "& does the fridge have enough power to keep the food cold for as long as needed?" He asked thinking of how long it may be before the food that needed to be kept cold may spoil.

Well, We could find another pregnant Shurlup...but I doubt we'l be able to tolerate raising any more Shurlups should the mopther give birth. so absent that, i'll have to work at creating it. As for the fridge, it has enough power to last for a few days..'

Wataru glanced around the room. Kivat was nowhere to be seen. He wasn't too worried, he knew the bat could take care of himself, but he didn't think it was polite to be exploring the cafe without permission.

Kivat made his way into the office. He was surprised to find several people there as well as a number of beds.

"What's going on here? This place sure is strange," he muttered to himself. He raised his voice to address the group. "Hello, I was just stopping here to eat and I couldn't resist looking around."

A blueberry slushie?' Striipetail repeated. "Do you want me to TURN YOU into a blueberry slushie" he smiled broasadly. "Or MAKE you a Blueberry Slushie. I guessing you want me to make you a slushie.done' He gestured and a glass filled with slushie dropped out of midair. it landed uin front of Sparx, slipping slightly and spilling a little slushie onto him. " Anybody else want anything?" He smiled.

Sparx stared at the slushie in amazement. "I don't suppose you could get me a bag of gold?"

"Um," Spyro said. "We'll just wait for Nick to make breakfast."

He flapped his wings and perched upside down on a rafter. "I don't suppose you're staying here because you like the food so much." He chuckled a bit at his own joke.

I'm almost done with the breakfast platter' Nick said, tossing hash browns onto a plate. "We'll have to run an assembly line. I cook the the food and put it ion a plate, then hand it to one of you. that person will run to the office and pass out the food. Who wants to be the runner?"

"I can be." Douglas said. "I can fly in this form if need to be instead of walking. Will the folks in the office have to share the food like a communal plate, or scoop some onto each plate for them to eat separately?" Douglass said and asked curious how this would be done.

Kenji and Talon looked up and acknowledged the newcomer as he entered and "perched" on the ceiling. Kenji finally had the strength to sit up and rest at the edge of the bed. His battle scars on his shoulder have closed, but are still visible.

"It's not the food that's bad," Talon replied. "It's the company that made themselves at home in the kitchen."

There will be enough foe everyone to help themselves. besides I';ll be cooking breakfast for the next few hours anyway. We'll bring the Shurlup babes in. What are you going to do about the mother Stripetail?'
"Perform an autopsy" stripetail said. "I'll find out what makes them tick, where their poison is located and how it is released. Most of my knowledge of the Shurlup comes from my library, this is the first time I'm had a specimen to examine and dissect."

"Hopefully you'll wait till we've left or port the corpse elsewhere, since autopsies tend to be... pretty messy. Also you may need to put some sort of preservation spell so the tissues do not rot or anything." Douglas said. He didn't like the idea of being in the room with someone doing an autopsy, though he suspected ME"s got use to it after a while, and anyone else who did those.

Petrie nodded, "They mean, like mean sharptooths, & bullies, not like Chomper at all." He said.

"Shurlups?" the bat repeated. "I saw a few shurlup young out in the kitchen and they didn't seem too bad. They didn't look really cute though."

Sparx was ignoring the group for the moment and slurping down the slushie via a straw he had found in the kitchen.

"Should we bring some of the shurlup babies back to the others?" Spyro asked. "So they can get used to them?"
