"Cynder?" Spyro's voice sounded weak. "Is she okay?"

The monster's roars sounded above them along with the sound of gunfire. Apparently, there were some base defenses that were aggravating the creature.

Dixie stopped at a landing and set Cynder Down. 'She's breathing on her own a little..but she's unconscious..' Dixie said leaning over her. "I'm going to help her breathe., and help her wake up faster.Cynder, If you wake While I'm doing this.. This is NOT a kiss." She opened Cynder's mouth, took two deep breaths, and covered Cynders mouth with hers. expelling her breath into Cynder. she pulled away briedfly and waited. Then she repeated it, ignoring the slight awkward feeling of having her lips against the lips of another female.

Dixie continued breathing into cynder ., and gradually Cynder's breathing became stronger. Finallly Cynder Opened her eyes, and Dixie stopped what she was doing. "Good to see you're awake Cynder.." She smiled. "You were knocked out for a bit there." The stairwell shook as the battle above ground continued. "Come on, we need to keep climbing.. "

"Okay," Spyro replied.

"I had the weirdst dream..." Cynder said. She stood up, wincing a bit and then leapt into the air, wobbling a bit as she falpped her wings and soared up the steps.

Spyro leapt out of Scooby's arms and flew after Cynder. "So what are we going to do about the monster?"

"No idea," Wataru said. "I think it's too big for any of us to handle."

Deimos, Strut, Dr. Zanasiu, Mr. Bigmouth, Rime and Zachary were running along with the group.

Suddenly, Deimos's radio beeped. He opened the channel.

"Attention, all non security personnel, please leave the base immediately! Military reinforcements have arrived." the radio blared.

"What luck." Deimos said bitterly, "Too bad Rime and I have to stay."

The radio blared again. "Deimos! Get out of the base immediately! There's someone who's trying to kill you and he's among the reinforcements."

"You guys are ALL coming with us" stripetail said, as cracks began to appear in the wall. His voice was cold and sharp.
_ Nick ran up behind him, Stitch clinging to his back, the wounds he had were bleeding onto Nicks back "Mesa not feel so good.. me feel funny" Stitch moaned.
Nick read the floor number- 3, "3 more to go guys, and we need to hurry, this place looks like it could give way at any time.."

"I used Castle Doran to kill the first two I encountered," Wataru said. "The third I killed with my Flight form and the Zanvat sword, but I don't have acess to either of those options currently."

Spyro wondered briefly if Cynder and his fury breath would have any effect on the creature, but it sounded like it would be too big for even that to work. "Maybe the reinforcements can handle it."

Neither Wataru, nor Kivat offered a reply.

"once we get to the surface,Point your Rings at the creature, and focus, the combined strength of the 4 can destroy just about anny monster.the rings will magnify any of your normal powers as well.: He gave a meaningful glance at Spyro, who suddenlybremembered facing a creature much bigger than this one, and surviving..the Golem.

"Wataru and I can hit it with a rider kick at the same time," Kivat said. The bat had returned to his perch on the kiva belt.

The sirens in the base sounded along with a recorded announcement. "Attention all personnel, evacuate the base immediately. Severe structural damage has occurred. Building collapse may occur."

Dr. Zanasiu readied his weapon. "Do you think guns will be effective against that creature?"

Deimos looked at Spyro. "The reinforcements may be able to handle it. Supposedly, a few C-130 gunships with 105 mm howitzers will be present and a few A-10 Warthogs with 30 mm antitank autocannon and possibly some soldiers with antiarmor rockets. And let's not forget the AH-64 helicopter with antitank missiles."

"Why would they send such heavy equipment?" Strut asked.

"Well, the experiments in here are very powerful, there are still terrorists present, and now word got out of that monster, which the military assumed is an experiment gone terribly wrong."

"Guns won't work," Wataru said with certainty. "That other stuff probably would."

"And we don't even have any practice with these things..." Cynder sighed. She dropped out of the air as a door came into view above them. It no doubt would lead them outside. The roars of the sabbat sounded nearby.

"Everything will work out," Kivat said optimistically.

"Just try not to get hurt worse," Spyro said to Stitch and Angel.

'Trial under fire.. Lets go" Stripetail said. Ramming ibnto the door. It opened revealing the darkness outside. Bart Shivered, there was a bite in the air, and the runblings of the stairwells grew louder.

Scooby ran out into the night. the scene was like that out of a Godzilla movie, A Huge Glowing Monster was surrounded by Military jeeps. In the Air, Scooby could see opplanes flying around the monster..

Spyro and Cynder leapt out into the cool night air and stared up at the giant glowing monster.

The blasts from the aircraft had done some heavy damage to it, cracks had appeared in its skin and a few fingers had been blown off each hand. It didn't look near finished yet though and the military vehicles were being overwhelmed.

"Ready when you are," Wataru said, drawing the wake up fuestle and glancing over at the ring bearers.
