"Is this really the time for that?" Kivat asked with exasperation.

Spyro glanced over at Cynder and then quickly looked away again. Cynder huffed at Spyro. "Well, if you're going to say something, say it before that thing comes down here and eats us."

"I love you, Cynder," Spyro said, nuzzling the dragoness' armored cheek.

Wataru was staring at the two couples and though his expression was hidden by the helmet he wore, one could tell the scene was having some sort of emotional impact on him. He seemed to be in another place at the moment, no doubt revisting some memory.

Dixie slowly took off her helmet. "Scooby, I love you too.." She said finally, wrapping her arms around his neck. Brown and red lips met, as she kissed him. the kiss sent a thrill into Scooby, and he held her close to him. The kiss lingered on for a few seconds, then Dixie pulled away. "Now, Romeo, letrs go kick some monster butt.." She said, a broad grin on her face, as she replaced her helmet.

A roar recaptured their attention. The sabbat dropped towards the group. Wataru leapt to the side as the creature's fist slammed into the ground.

The two dragons leapt forward and spat twin beams of purple light from their mouths, the sabat roared as the beams slammed into it. Bolts of fire shot from its back and towards the group.

'Eclori SEndar!' Stripetail roared and an intense beam of light raced out of his staff. it smaxcked the creature in the chest and lit it on fire.

Rire!" Fire!" both of the Great Danes let out a stream of fired out of theuir rings, met it mid air, and raced towards the creature as a single stream.

"Fury!" Spyro and then Cynder shouted, using the rings to boost the potency of their breath attacks. The light of their attacks intensified, just as the beam of fire struck the sabbat's chest. The beams shot straight through its chest. It roared in pain, no longer launching fireballs.

"Wake up!" Kivat shouted. A crescant moon appearing in the sky overhead as Wataru leapt into the air. The leap carried him impossibly high, Kivat detached from the belt and hovered around Wataru's leg releasing the chains from it. He thrust his foot forward and dropped towards the sabbat, crashing into its shoulder and breaking through the glass-like flesh.

The sabbat shakily hovered off the ground a few feet, before dropping back down landing on its side.

Absorbus singulari!" Stripetail commanded and energy began racing out of the weakening sabbat. the energy raced inside the rings of the team, making them glow very bright. "You are absorbing the creatures powers, just keep taking short steps back.' Stripetail said.

Wataru watched the group step away from the sabbat. The creature weakening with each passing second. Finally its skin turned grey and shattered apart falling to the ground and the glowing fangire soul hovered from the remains. He leapt up and snatched the ball of light out of the air.

He walked over to the group, the strangely calm ball of light held under one arm. "I guess we should head back."

As he said there was a laud crash, as the facility began to collaspse on itself. Stripetail turned to Mr BigMouth and the others, "Best to come with us so you don't have to face your superiors anger for awhile. "
Scooby tensed as the last of the energy went into his ring. It was now glowing very brighly, so much that it was hard to look at it.

Wataru sighed as the facility collapsed. Reflecting that perhaps things would have worked out better had he left the fangire alone.

Spyro and Cynder huddled up near Stripetail. Wataru went and stood near the squirrel.

TELEPORTIUS!" Stripetail commanded and instantly the group of 15 members vanished.

In an instant they reappeared in the middle of Nick's offfice. Nick collaspsed to the ground, exhausted from carrying Stitch, and wearing that heavy armor.

Dr. Zanasiu, Deimos, Strut and Rime took off their armor, unloaded their weapons and placed them by the wall. Zachary and Mr. Bigmouth who were not wearing any armor simply unloaded their weapons and placed them by the wall. Deimos still had his pistol in its holster.

"Is there a shower nearby?" Dr. Zanasiu asked. He massaged his back. "This armor probably saved my life many times but it's not that comfortable and it really slows you down."

"Hey nice to see you back! Is Pelvanida Base secure?" Dr. Kerzach asked, pulling a basket of fresh french fries from the fryer.

"Pelvanida Base is secure because it was reduced to rubble thanks to some weird monster and the US Military's attempt to kill the thing." Deimos said.

Strut went over to Nick and helped him remove his armor. "I see you're not used to wearing armor. After a while you barely notice it's there."

There's a shower, but I'm not sure if the pipes work very well, the building was pretty damaged by the Shurlups and storm og mithril" Nick. "Its upstairs, there's a stairs down the hallway to the right of here. "not sure how warm the water is.. you may must have to use cold water. 15 minute max gentlemen, in, clean yourself off, wash your hair clean your wounds, etc. and get out."

Just then, Kenji and Talon arrived around the corner, accompanied by two other dinosaurs. One is another Utahraptor with a slightly different coloring, and the other is a Dilophosaurus.

"Welcome back," Kenji said. His scar has now healed to a darkened mark on his arm, which would almost be mistaken for a tattoo.

"Sorry we couldn't help," Talon added. "We found out our 'backup' got lost on their way here, so we had to pick 'em up."

"It certainly wasn't MY fault that someone I know off didn't stop and ask for directions," the other raptor said as he glared at the Dilophosaurus.

"Why don't YOU try to find someone that won't scream and run away when you approach them with a map and questions!" the Dilophosaurus snapped back.

Ducky nodded, "It is good to see you all back, it is it is. I just hope you all are ok, I do, I do." Ducky said.

I think all of us could use a nap after what we've been through.."Dixie said, taking off hers and breathing heavily. "Cynder, take off your helmet, and show Spyro the makeover you got.." She grinned.

"Nago-san!" Wataru exclaimed cheerfully as he saw the man. He walked to him, the glowing fangire soul still held under one arm. "What are you doing here?"

"I saw your bike outside and stopped to say 'hi," Nago replied, shooting a questioning look at the soul.

"I need to take care of this," Wataru said to the group, holding up the soul and heading for the exit to the office. "I'll be right back."

Nago turned and walked to the two aliens. He leaned down to examine Angel and noted her broken arm. "I need something to make a splint out of."

Cynder removed her helmet, Spyro turned and stared at her. "Wow, you look great."

"Thanks," Cynder said wtih a blush.

Dixie brought out the small dresses and suit. "They were shrunk to fit it.

Spyro pulled the necklace out. He glanced down at the lock and twisted the combination, going slowly as though he wasn't quite sure how the lock worked. The case clicked open though and Spyro drew out the necklace. Cynder's eyes widened as she saw it. Spyro walked over and wrapped it around Cynder's neck, his claws giving him some trouble with working the clasp.

"Thank you," Cynder said, nuzzling Spyro's cheek.
