Spyro idled over to Scooby. "The girls sure are putting the two of them through the wringer, aren't they?"

He whispered very quietly, afraid of having either female turn their wrath on him next.

Sparx sighed. He could only hope the girls would forget the whole thing before two weeks had passed.

Petrie looked back at the angry folks talking some distance from where he was, then he looked over at Ducky who was nearby. "She sound mad as when anyone but Tria call her dad Topsy."

Douglas I guess some would still like to go to the Great Valley place to get cleaned up?" Douglas asked looking around at some folks.

"After what you guys tried to pull, they have every right to get even. you put thier relationships in jeprady over a few dollars, and for both of these guys , its been hard enough finding someone who cares about them enough, and who is willing to be a partner, without you guys threatening everything.. Sparx, shaggy, Take Spyro and Scooby, and get yourselves something to eat. I need to talk with these girls in private.. I'm sure they have thier reasons, and i'm sure they don't want to explain themselves to everyone..

"Okay," Spyro said, heading towards the kitchen. "I was getting hungry anyway."

Sparx buzzed after them, eager to get away from Dixie and Cynder.

The black dragoness sighed and trotted over to Stripetail standing next to Dixie. She sat down and hoped Dixie would say something first.

Dr. Kerzach looked at Scooby. "So what would you guys like?"

"You know what. Screw the hot springs!" Deimos said. "I'll just hose myself off."

"Same goes." Mr. Bigmouth said.

They went out into the night air to the back to hose themselves off.

"Oh, yeah, that feels good." Dr. Zanasiu said. Rime was giving him a shoulder massage.

"You know Doc, you should really leave combat to the professionals. And I need a massage too." Rime said.

"Hey! We were in a desperate situation. And I'll give you a massage after dinner. Hey, Kerzach! What's for dinner?"

Strut went over to Nick. "Hey Nick. Is there a shooting range or a gun shop nearby? I need to go and get some ammo. And, Deimos and I were considering some target shooting. Anybody want to join?"

Zachary was sitting by Spyro.

It had been a quick transition from sheer anger to pure nerves on her part, She hoped Stripetail hadn't seen what she had done on the stairwell..

There aren't any gun shops ariound here, this place is the only place around for at least 5 miles in every direction.' Nick said. But as for target practice, sure use some debris for a target and shoot away. "

Cynder wasn't nervous, spending the first half of her life around Gaul and his ilk made her hardier then most. She was annoyed at being placed in such an awkward position.

"Dixie wanted to help with my relationship with Spyro," Cynder replied. "So she gave me a few pointers on kissing."

"I'd like some meat," Spyro replied. He made a note to ask Scooby and Shaggy about what kinds of food were available in this world.

Strut shrugged. "There's a gun shop about 10 or so miles North of Pelvanida or what's left of it. Of course, that's walk of about 20 or so miles. I'm used to running great distances. I'll be back before morning."

Mr. Bigmouth and Deimos soon reappeared in the cafe.

"What's to eat?" Deimos asked. He was still wearing his pistol in a holster across his chest.

"Steak, burger, stir-fry, salad, the usual." Dr. Kerzach said without looking up from the grill.

"Just give me 2 steaks, raw." Deimos said.

"I'll have a salad and hot tea." Mr. Bigmouth replied.

"Spyro! Your meal is ready." Dr. Kerzach called. He placed a white platter containing an enormous steak, char-grilled to perfection and a heap of french fries.

'Did you two kiss? Or should I say, do you WANT to kiss?" Was Stripetail's reply. He gave the two of them a glance. "I Guess.. I'm a little curious about it. " Dixie said finally. 'We both thought it would be too awkward though, so we didn't."

I'd say not, not by a long shot. But I think you two should figure it out by yourselves.. I'll give you all the privacy you need, and as far as getting over awkwardness, picture the other person, as someone you'd like to kiss, and just pretend that you're kissing that person. I'm not going to force you twio to kiss, and I won't ask afterwards if you did or not. "

"Thank you," Spyro said, eyeing the huge steak hungrily. He bit off a chunk of steak and chewed it up.

Both Nago and Wataru glanced over at the food being served and then both headed over to Dr. Kerzach.

"Two hamburgers please," Nago said.
