Well, If He Was allowed to participate the match would go to the contestant who selected him first. I think that He is allowed to refuse, but if he does he cannot be asked by the other opponent. So if I'm playing you Eva, and I ask him to be my partner, if he refuses, then you can't ask him. If I"m in a tight spot, Eva, I'll play the card. Now, when you have a partner, it in effect breaks the duel into 3 seperate duels. I play my opponent, my partner plays the other partner. LEt's say my opponent knocks me out and you knock out her partner, that means we each pick up a part-duel. Then you would play her to decide the match. If you win, I Advance. If I"m knocked out, then my opponent cannot particpate in the other duel. It's strictly one-on-one." Alicia said.
