Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

The first triple-birthday!?!? w00t! What an honor!

And thanks everybody for the warm wishes! Today's been really rocking, History teacher canceled his lecture for the day, which never happens, so me and my dormmates got to play football against another dorm (I was goalie) for an extra hour. I've also received an anonymous tip that some sort of surprise party is in the works, so there's more to come!

So thanks all, and now on to tobey & DK's threads to wish them Happy birthday too!

I noticed recently that the forum calendar and Board Statistics are no longer displaying members’ birthdays. (I PMed Petrie about it, and he doesn’t know, so no one else bother him about it.) Because we have stopped being reminded whenever somebody’s birthday comes up (and no one can be expected to remember the exact dates of EVERYBODY’S birthdays :p), we have unfortunately already missed the triple star day of Dark Pterano, LettuceBacon&Tomato, and tobeysan. I have no idea whether they are at all disappointed by this, but just in case, I thought I’d treat them to some belated star day congratulations and well-wishings.

Sorry for the birthday thing, that was my bad.  I disabled it earlier this month to block a specific birthday of a banned member (couldn't remove the birthday of that member without changing the password, unbanning him, logging in, changing the birthday and rebanning him) and totally forgot to turn it back on!  :oops :p

Dude, I completely forgot my birthday too! :slap College will do that to you. I've been focusing on getting ready for my finals when I got a birthday present from the family in the mail and thought, "Oh, dang! It was my birthday, wasn't it?" :slap :slap
