Cayso looked back to Cyrix as he grabbed the stone bowl with water and drank a bit of it. - "I was... singing, when he awoke for a second and he told me that he knew the song". - he drank another bit of water and smiled. - "Thanks for the water by the way.".

Cyrix smiled at Cayso and replied, "You're welcome. After such a hard fight, being thirsty is natural." Then he thought about what Cayso had said before thank you: "You know a sharptooth song...and Longtail knew it too. Odd...my nephew never told me he knew any sharptooth songs."

Cayso saw with much curiosity towards the Rainbowface - "I thought both of you have been always together..." - Cayso thinks for a second while still having the bowl-shaped stone in his hand - "...maybe your nephew has sharptooth friends somewhere." - he drinks a bit more of water and said with a lowered voice while looking at the water inside the bowl. - "but it is not the only thing odd about him."

Cyrix looked to Cayso and asked "I-If I told you something...could you keep it a secret? I have to have your sworn word on this matter? Do you agree?" Cyrix then began to absentmindily stroke Longtail's back, knowing he still couldn't feel it.

Cayso's curiosity was now greater than ever - "Will he tell me what I want to know?" - Cayso thought, he then put a more serious look as he replied to Cyrix's request - "You can trust in me, I will keep the secret, you have my word."

Cyrix smiled and was about to speak up and tell Cayso the secret but just as he opened his mouth Longtail beat him too it, as the young flyer stuttered out: "I-I...I'm half....sharptooth...by blood....t-that..is my....secret...I-I'm sorry I kept...it from you Cayso." Longtail then began snoring as he fell asleep once more.

Cyrix gave a short laugh and said, "Well Cayso...there's your answer...is that enough for you?"

Ecco, who easily lost his balance because of the much sticks, fell. Ungh,... that was the only thing he could give from himself before he started to mumble. I think we have enough he said and looked at Littlefoot.

Littlefoot looked at Ecco. "Maybe we should head back then. I can help you carry some if you want. I wonder if the others found as many sticks as you did." He said.

Mim nodded, "Shall we be off then. Do you want to look in a particular direction?" Mim asked Ruby.

Cyrix smiled at Cayso's response and said, "Well, as it turns out...Longtail may be very last half breed in the world. So far as I know, I have yet to run into any others." Cyrix then stopped to take a breath and continued.
"So, Cayso, what kind of questions do you have? I'd be more than happy to answer as many as I can for you."

Cayso heard what Cyrix said but he negated with the head - "I don't think that would be correct, we are talking about Longtail while he is asleep" - Cayso then smiled as he looked at the Raibowface - "But I may ask about you, I don't think you are a real relative of him, right?, because if he is a Flyer and a Sharptooth... if he is also a relative of you, then Longtail may be a third-breed." - Cayso had to giggle at the funny that sounded. - "of course... if you don't mind if I ask about you... later I may tell you and your nephew a bit about me and my Herd."

"If you think you have enough maybe we should head back." Littlefoot said and looked in the direction of where Longtail and the others were and started to turn his body in that direction. "As long as you are sure you have enough. Be careful where you walk, we wouldn't want you to fall." Littlefoot said.

Mim looked around the area where they were. "If we want to find lots of sticks then looking over there where there are more trees may be a good spot to look." Mim said. "I hope the others have found lots of sticks, then we'll be able to pick the best ones."

Cyrix quietly chuckled to himself and said while facing Cayso "Third breed...now that's funny. But really don't worry so much...Longtail is bound to find out the truth eventually, he's a smart kid. Besides...you are only part right, i'm not related to Longtail by blood, but I was there when he hatched, and I under his mothers grace was made his Godfather. I should count myself lucky I suppose...he truly is one of a kind."

Longtail then tried to roll over in his sleep, but groaned in pain and went back to resting on his belly.

"I admit I am amazed to get to know someone like Longtail too, and another one like you too, Rainbowfaces are very special too... maybe that's one of the reasons why you are in charge of him." - Cayso drank the last of the water inside the bowl-shaped stone - "But he is special, he may have a destiny far greater than I could imagine... I just hope that if we are meant to meet again it will be as allies, but ... during the fight I realized he has killed dinosaurs like me and... Don't worry Cayso, should you ever meet Longtail outside this valley, I won't be far behind, that I promise you." He then sighed as he heard Cayso ask about Greyclaw. Cyrix frowned and replied "I've only heard stories, and tales about him...and what he's done...but I never met him no. Why...is it important?"
