The Gang of Five
Howdy, everyone!

As you know, the forum has been fighting spammers and bots for years. We have seen our fair share of "Custom Kitchens UK", scammy Internet hosting companies, and bots trying to send us to a business's homepage. But after fighting the tidal wave of spam for so many years, the admins had a persistent thought: what if the spammers are right? Not in terms of posting nonsense links and trying to scam our users, but in trying to make money through our unique platform?

Well, thanks to the helpful counsel of Taunt, we have finally decided to move the forum in a new direction. Please see his important post on the matter in this topic

Does anyone know of any good dinosaur rpgs?  I've tried to find some and haven't had much luck.  I'm surprised they're so hard to find.

Besides the ones that were already mentioned here, I am only aware of three dinosaur RPGs at this time. RPGs, meaning the taking turns, experience points, leveling up, gaining new abilities, etcetera. All of these games are for the DS and were all made in Japan. So I'll list my explanation first, followed by the Japanese name for the game, then the English one right below it, next an article with information for it, and finally, the best clip I could find to show its battle system. I cannot give an English name for the bottom one because it has only been released in Japan so far, and that is also the reason why I couldn't find an English article to explain that particular one at all.

This clip is of the beginning of the game so it shows how the story starts and how the main characters got involved. It also shows how the villains get their first power as do the main characters.  You will be able to see the first battle you have to fight in the game. It is recorded well so I hope you like it:

I found a battle clip from ign.com with a battle that can be seen quite clearly. I that hope everyone has access to that site. Just so this fight makes perfect sense to everyone, I'll explain. Normal attacks aren't all you can do in these brawls, but for some reason, that is all that this clip shows. Now when you attack physically here, you pick which body parts of your opponent to attack and which body parts to protect on yourself. If the opponent attacks the part you protected, you are safe and vice versa. Like pokemon, the characters only move when doing something. Otherwise, they are still as statues. I know that this video is clear, but it doesn't have quite a lot of action going for it. I'm sorry, but this is the best one that I can find with a decent battle sequence:

"Dino Master"

Here is a good size video showing a person playing this in Japan. While the person is excellent at playing the game, his skills with a video camera leave something to be desired at times. You will occasionally have trouble seeing what he is doing because of the video camera angle making the DS screen look too bright to see clearly. You'll at least be able to see enough to know what the gameplay is like though. This one seems the hardest out of the three games I mentioned here because of all that rapid screen tapping in different patterns I noticed that you will see here as well:

I hope that these are the kind of things you were looking for, and therefore I was of any help to you here. Later!
